I am having the same problem!! I usually respond with my iPhone. I lost my star seller badge also and I responded to all my messages within 24 hours. I was given a 88%! They need to get it fixed!!! I don’t appreciate working hard for Star Seller and having it stolen! It’s the first time in months I haven’t been a Star Seller and I should have been this month also! I tried to contact support and they won’t even respond to me!

@ScrubLub: There have been other reports of replies made using an app 'disappearing', and in some cases not counting as a reply for Star Seller. That issue appears to be unrelated to the new message banner not going away glitch which does not seem to negatively affect Star Seller stats. You appear to be the victim of two separate glitches occurring at the same time.
We have had several instances of the latter and it has never dinged our stats. We do not use any of the apps to manage our business so cannot speak to the former.

Exactly--same for me 1st time in a year + . I don't know that it really makes a dent in my business if I lose star seller--but its just frustrating to me when I KNOW that I responded and can tell when Etsy has changed something --or a glitch has popped up, made changes to the app (which might take a few weeks to iron out--but it seems like sellers get "penalized")
Definitely a problem. I just responded to 2 messages within an hour of them asking a question and it's still showing blue message that it's a new message. That was now over 3 hours ago. Glitches when replying with my phone as well. It's completely annoying. It does mess with your % response as mine dropped. Its an ongoing issue not fixed.

Samething happening to me, I've tried contacting Etsy , a complete waste of time. I know and my customers know that their inquiry has been answered. I never take the time to see what a response rate of any seller is....if I need info I ask, if a seller does not get back to me within 24/36 hrs they have lost my potential sale so check back and make sure your reply did get sent. Etsy is really great but sometimes it sucks for sellers when they ignore us.
