Log In to Community, THEN Post

Dear Etsy Programmers, 

Please either require a sign-in to the app BEFORE allowing users to write a long post here in the community...

Or...

Program the app to create a draft of the post so that it's still here after log in is complete. 

The current system of dispersing into the ether paragraphs of text that were carefully edited to structure a question with enough context is, to put it mildly, frustrating.

Update: Is copy/paste disabled? I just tried to repost my question, and when I tried to copy my text so I wouldn't lose it again, the screen went grey and I lost it all anyway.

Personally, I don't know why anyone would want to post in the forums on the app.  Apps are great for keeping on top of incoming orders and answering messages from buyers on the go, but they rarely have full functionality of every aspect of the website.  I didn't think the forums were even accessible from the app.  I thought you needed to use a browser for that.
