Locked out of account for security reasons

Hi,

Last night I was locked out of my account where I sell from for security issues. I have emailed several times and even got a callback, but the person on the phone said it’s been sent to the security team and it could take a few days.

Meanwhile, an organic search is not showing my products that were appearing on the first search page and I can’t find them anywhere. I think my listings have been taken down too.

Has this ever happened to anyone? How long did it take to get this resolved? I’m frustrated to be losing on money during these days and unable to add anything to the store.

Your shop is closed so you have no listings.

After seeing what you were selling, there is a very good chance they have closed your account for good.

You can try appealing but doubt this would work. If you have any funds due, it can take up to 6 months for them to be released if they do not refund the customers with those funds first

I looked a cached version of some of your listings - all trademark infringement! I doubt Etsy will reopen your shop.

When Etsy puts this yellow banner with this message that "you're not currently selling" in a shop more than likely Etsy shut you down for good for selling counterfeit TS items and you'll never be able to reopen that shop or start another shop here.

This happens frequently, to answer your first question. As to your second question, it's unlikely that you will see your shop reopened, due to trademark infringement. I'm sorry that you are unable to sell here, but the terms of use are clear.
