Some of my listings are either thumbnails as a brown square or the shot but with a hyper pink line on the right hand side.. is this the same issue as the black thumbnails?

@SaoirseandSadie This blank photo/colored squares is affecting many Sellers and appears to be a glitch of some sort. I went into your Shop; on the first 5 pgs., I see 5 colored squares with no photo *(desktop computer, Chrome).
Everyone seems to be viewing different things, and we have no way of knowing what potential Buyers are seeing. But I just wanted you to know what I see in your Shop.

There is an Announcement fr. Admin at the top of Tech. Issues re: Ad Blocker and this problem.
I really this glitch is fixed; too many Sellers having problems.

I've seen this before. It has to do with the loading of the listings. Back when Etsy went through another major change to listings this occurred for a period of time.

One thing that can help is clearing out cache and cookies.

It is also possible to that if you are using an older computer with a graphics card that is not up to date, you may get more of this.

I've been seeing this in my shop but eventually everything loads.

Not all buyers will have the experience of seeing the colored squares. So much depends on browser and computer, other devices and ISP and Etsy that it is hard to say who will experience this.

yesterday i saw blank/whitish squares.

in your shop... your first listing with the video is just a huge black square.

but when you hover over it... the video plays and i can see it.

i am not seeing the pink lines.

i have cleared both my cache and cookies...restarted my computer and...

nothing is helping.

@nineteen27 Same here; I clear cache/cookies probably once or twice daily (or more). Nothing is helping though. It's a major glitch.

i am using google chrome today too.

when i check firefox... the images are working.

@nineteen27 Interesting. Chrome is the only browser I use (used to it and like it most of the time). Also, when a browser is one which is supported by Etsy and we keep it updated, we shouldn't have to pull our hair out to do workarounds for something which shouldn't be broken in the first place.

I do wonder if this photo thing has to do with the embedded "see similar items" in the thumbnail pic (which some Sellers are seeing as a test. Personally I haven't seen it yet). But it's too coincidental and I don't believe in coincidences. Another Seller (SilverandEarth) posted the same thing a few days ago.

I have a brand new tablet using chrome and my listings have had the pink line on one side for several days. It isn't on my desktop computer though and it's a really old computer using chrome. Better than seeing blacked out pics I guess.
