Listings Changing to Auto Renew

I keep all my listings on manual review - this is how I set them up when I create them.

I check once a week or thereabouts to make sure they are all still correct.

But they keep changing to auto renew!

Is Etsy this desperate for our 20c listing fees???

Tonight when I try to change them all back, I'm getting a error message and told to try again later. Hope it works later as I don't want to have to go through all my listings individually, only to have to do it all again next week...

I keep mine set at manual but have to keep an eye on them! Not sure of the time frame Etsy resets a listing to auto renew. I try to go through every other week and check. On the listing page you can check mark  all listings for the page and under editing options click change renewal. That's the quickest way to get through all listings in the shop.

Re: Listings Changing to Auto Renew

This is what I normally do, but tonight I'm getting an error message. And they shouldn't be changing to automatic renew anyway really, which is the bit that annoys me

Do you have more than a Qty. of 1 on them?

Re: Listings Changing to Auto Renew

Some, not all, but usually I do as suggested above, check all listings and click to change renewal. It normally works but today I'm getting an error message - and they shouldn't change from how I have set them in the first place anyway.

@RockwaysDesigns  There are some recent Threads popping up, which are suggesting other glitches. Seller having trouble editing Listings.  Another one can't get into Payment Account.  I'm beginning to wonder if Etsy is glitching again.

It happens from time to time.  That is why I usually once a month use the editing tool to keep listings on manual.

Re: Listings Changing to Auto Renew

Etsy is trying to get sellers to use the new listing page and anytime they change something like this, it messes up that whole section of programming.  So I'm not surprised sellers are having problems with updating, renewal settings and other related functions.  As for what you can do about it, click on the arrow under the first box on the listing page.  Select all items on all pages.  The under editing options, choose renewal options and set it to manual.  All the listings should change to manual.  If you have quantities of more than one of an item, when it sells, it should auto renew and that will mess up the manual settings on that listing.
