Listing was Renewed without my consent

My sticker listing was just renewed without my consent. I have it on a manual renewal.

Double check that you do as if you go in and edit the listing for any reason or even view it in edit mode it defaults back to auto renew every single time. Manual does not stick.

Just checking... before you listed it this past time, did you make sure to click on manual? The new listing format seems to autoselect automatic renewal even if the item was renewed from sold, or expired, or started from a copied listing. 

edited to add: if you are a serial manual renewer like me, you will want to do the bulk listing renewal set to manual routine on a regular basis.

If the quantity is greater than one, then it will automatically renew. 

Manual renewal only applies to a listing that has expired. 

If you don't want it to renew, then make sure you don't have a quantity greater than 1.

I can see a dropdown menu currently showing more than one available. Which means if this sells again, it will automatically renew, again.

These can be tricky because they do end up on automatic renewal for a few different reasons other people have mentioned. If you want to be sure none automatically renew you have to review your listings periodically and make sure they are all still set to manual.

Sometimes manual slips and it goes to automatic.  I just use the dropdown to keep everything on manual.  

Is this a sold out listing that renewed itself or was this a listing with quantity?  IF with quantity, sell one and it automaticall renews.  This is explained quite adequately in Help.

Manual renewal only applies to expiration renewals, although there are many post about the renewal state changing "on its own" and / or check boxes defaulting to auto renew.

We also do only manual renewals but keep a browser tab open to active listings sorted by 'Expiration Soonest' to manage any upcoming expiring listings and can catch any auto renewals.
