Listing video not auto playing

Videos are not auto-playing on my listings in search. Anyone else having this issue?

They won't play unless someone clicks on them.

Etsy recently updated their search and made an announcement about this. The video is supposedto auto play when hovered on in search.

Some are working when hovered over in search, some are not. 

In the search results I looked up the first two rows would auto play when hovered over, everything after that did not (and the search I did actually came back with zero ads, so the top two rows were actual listings, not a row of ads and a row of listings).

So my videos suddenly stop playing. I was wondering if it's because when I begin a new listing I copy an existing one and make changes. The video is the same and remains so it shouldn't happen, but wondering. Reading some of the comments here makes me think it's new Etsy functionality, however. I'd hate to have to add the video back into over 200 listings, so hoping they work it out!! Thanks for any insights ... Deborah

@THE7DAYSCreations   Your video works.  It has to be a featured listing or found in search.  The videos do not work in the shop hope page.

I uploaded mine and it does not play. What is the point then? Can anyone from Etsy help please?

I am having similar issues.  When I uploaded, it stated I could have up to 1 minute video.  My video only plays for a few seconds, and never has sound.  Is there a fix to this?

@FUNctionalOTLearning   There is no sound with listing videos and the time is only 15 seconds at the most.

The about me video can be longer and can have sound. 

I think they are talking about that one, not the listing video. 

I don't have a solution as I use a video that doesn't have sound for mine, as I don't want sound even when it is an option.

The main reason the videos do not have audio, is people sometimes shop while they are at work (Shhh, it's a secret). No one wants to be quietly "working" and suddenly have a blast of sound come on with a video.
