Listing not indexed?

Hi,

I've been having a problem with my first listing. It's been over a month now since I activated it and all the views I've received have been from my own marketing on social media. The only 2 views I've received from search in all that time have been myself searching my shop name, but I've never found it by searching for the product, nor has anyone else when I've asked them to try on their accounts even when searching the exact title. When I search for it from my own shop page with numerous searches, it doesn't come up at all. I know people have said this means it might not be indexed. Could anyone with knowledge check for me?

I've spoken with support multiple times and one of them admitted there was a problem and reindexed the listing, but it's been over a week since then and nothing has changed. The other people I've spoken to just encourage my to change my SEO, which has been frustrating as I understand I need to improve my tags etc to make it more visible, but I just want it to be visible at all in the first place before I start trying to do that. If typing in my exact title on my own shop page doesn't bring it up, what's the point in fiddling with tags?

I know I should probably just delete the listing and do a brand new one instead, but I'd be disappointed to lose the favourites and people who have it in their baskets, especially when I'm trying to make that first sale. This has been a disappointing start to my Etsy experience so any help would be much appreciated.

Have you done a search in your shop to see if the listing shows? Just use a word that is in the listing, I look at the title and find a short word, if the listing comes up then it is indexed.

 I just did a search and it doesn’t show so you are not indexed.

@CascadeDecks: You can always check if a listing is indexed by searching within your own shop (i.e. the shop search box on your shop home page).

This is an ongoing issue and same with my store for MONTHS any time I bring it up to support they say they don't know and they say they will forward it to someone who does. I ask it to be escalated and they don't even confirm my details or my issue. One person wrote back and said " if I understand correctly"  wrote a paragraph and literally nothing they said back was the actual issue. They are horrendously unable to understand people which is a massive concern. It seems as though they have outsourced which is fine if people were capable, there is a communication barrier and Much else. This is not the support of people who care or concerned and resolve stuff who are in Dublin like it use to be.
These people just copy paste the Entire Etsy help section about Listings to me. And then thats it ....  It goes in circles - I have Yet to ever have ONE person resolve an issue on Etsy for me.  NOT INDEXING is CRAZY - WE TRUST, WE PAY and RELY on Etsy to be doing their job as the platform, if they can't do it then stop paying people to do it and let us do it and charge us less???   Because I know how to do it and I can't because I dont have access to the back end of Etsy - obviously.  It also doesn't even matter about SEO I have looked into that and changed mine and even googled my Keywords (word for word) an my products NEVER show up - because if they aren't indexed according to google - my products don't exits. .and same with everyone else's if they don't do it!  it is Heartbreaking.  People are Busting their peaches getting this going and ready and ahead for holiday season - biggest time of the year and literally no one knows I exist... pretty much.  Unless I pay for promo outside of Etsy.  There is a lot of Corruption lately on their end and it is sad to see - there is no point in having support if they never respond.  I also woke up one morning and ALL my Shipping Profiles were DELETED magically in whatever changes they were doing  and never responded to me - all in red ... I had to re-assign shipping profiles for 200+ listings no thanks to them.
