When I upload a new listing, I usually copy an old one that has sold out ( because for one thing I usually reuse some of the tags and I figure if the painting sold it must be a decent one to copy). I did this today for two new listings but on each of the two the attributes did not save, they remain empty even after re entering them several times. I went ahead and used these for the new listings even though there are no attributes since I had already spent so much time uploading the photos, making the title, tags, etc. Has anyone else had this happen? They were copied from older than usual sold out listings than I usually use, but I picked these listing to copy because they had some similarities to the new listings I was uploading ( my listings are all hand painted original watercolor paintings, so I make a new listing for each one, and I try to save time because it is a fairly long process.) I have more paintings to list tomorrow, I will try to use more recent sold out listings to copy, but I am hoping this will not start to happen with every copied listing or I will have to start with a fresh listing each time. Wondering if it is a glitch or what.

Just trying to bump this for you. I almost always copy either active or sold out listings. I wonder if it is because some of the old attributes have been discontinued or eliminated. Try going back in and fix what couldn't be included before.
Yes I will try again tomorrow, but already tried 3 times on one of them today ( 2 on the other) so thought I’d see if anyone else was having the same issue. All the attributes were there, none were discontinued and I filled them all out - only to find that they would not save like they usually do. Thanks for the bump
Same thing happened to me. It cleared up when I used the browser on my computer rather than the app. No idea why.
I've recently found that creating listings with Etsy can be time-consuming due to information not saving properly. I haven't had this exact problem. But I repeatedly have other listing information that won't accept edits. I'm not sure what has made this happen, but creating an Etsy listing has become time-consuming. I've found saving the listing and reediting it a day later can help. I've stopped listing as often on Etsy due to this type of issue. I still feel Etsy can be an asset to a small business. But it's not reliable enough to be a main account or to depend on anymore.
I am having the same problem. Attributes not saving. When I try to update the attributes, it only saves one.
I've found the same issue today, it was all ok last week. It seems the mobile app isn't saving them but I could add them on desktop
Thanks to everyone that replied. I’d really like Etsy to see this now as a glitch and fix it, because two others here are reporting the same problem. I just listed another painting and same thing is still happening - the attributes won’t save ( except for one). It is not easy for me to upload on the regular website, which some are saying that the attributes works there, but since I mostly use my iPad, it is easier to use the app and a hassle to use the website. I don’t have the luxury of stopping listing things just because it is not working correctly, Etsy has been good to me, almost all of my sales come from Etsy and I plan on listing more paintings not less, and with the attributes not working, I am less likely to be found in search, and it is hard enough to be found as it is. Please don’t close this thread until the glitch is fixed. Thank you!
Im having the same issue on the app today as well not saving new listing attributes. The way I got round it was to log onto my laptop and update them that way. For me it was attributes and delivery profiles not saving.
I’m have the same problem
I was too, and in order to post the listing, I had to go to the computer and post from there. The app on my phone wasn’t saving the attributes.
Been having this issue all day on my app.
I’ve also been having this issue all day. They need to fix it asap.
I sell pod T shirts and the same thing happened to me yesterday. Today the same thing is happening and I have t changed anything that I usually do. I have selected the same attributes I always do and it only saves one. Also Etsy had no good solution when I wrote an email. So hope they fix this on the sellers app soon
Same here in android App, started yesterday. Thought I was loosing my mind. I perform the same routine every morning before my feet hit the floor on my phone. These are my expired listings that I manually adjust and renew. Today, the same behavior for new drafts and expired listings. The attributes are not saving or loosing state in the session.
I am going to be listing shortly. I really hope they get this fixed right away.
Just to update: I am still having this issue. I have messaged Etsy, so hopefully it will be resolved soon. I have listed and am saving in drafts so I can go through and either post from my desktop or when Etsy fixes the phone app. It’s really inconvenient.
I had the same problem in the seller app. I was able to get the attributes to stay by editing them in shop manager.
i'm having the same issue on the app. it works on the desktop, though.
@thatregina any ideas??
Definitely frustrating, switched to laptop, problem corrected immediately! It sucks, I try to do alot from my phone when in my recliner!
@GetPrintables4U: Have you tried your mobile browser?
Yes, only laptop currently works now.
Thank you for the suggestion ☺️

It says the updates are saved. No error message. They just never stay.
