Hello everyone,
I had three items removed from my listing by AI for the reason "Highly Regulated Products". When I renewed my listing, it was removed for three consecutive days (one day per listing). Now I'm starting to worry about to renew my items. I'm worried it might affect my account. I'm not sure if this is a technical issue with Etsy's AI system at this time.
The items I sell are clothing items that I produce and design myself. They are not prohibited or dangerous.
I will continue to email/contact Etsy support, but in the meantime, I'd like to know if anyone else has experienced this. I'd be very grateful.
Thank you.
What listings were removed?
Are they for children? (Regulated for draw-strings and fire safety)
Did they mention cashmere? (Labelling regulations)
Hi!
I don't have a product that made by cashmere.
These are the three of them:

This is the similar listing that removed: https://www.etsy.com/listing/189982198
I have a size for a kids age 3-9 year old. Is this impact to the listing product?
@NaughtyGirlShop it's difficult to say - perhaps it's a mistake.
Here's the page regarding the regulation of children's products in case there is something that might be the issue: https://www.etsy.com/legal/policy/childrens-clothing-and-products/239344787532#Lounge
Is it possible your photos were stolen? Amazon has many of your items!
I have my store on Amazon. Thanks for your help!
What is your Amazon shop name?
I think I'm a former buyer of yours! Great quality!
You should not renew items that Etsy deactivated! Your entire shop could vanish!
Wait for a reply once you've contacted Etsy. Otherwise you will end up at the end of the line again.
Do a reverse search for your photos, if anyone else is using them! If yes, file a complaint with the platform and have them taken down!
Best wishes!
Thanks for your help! I'll checking on it.
I wonder if it's because you are using the word Aladdin and that's a Disney movie? It shouldn't be for clothing but who knows with the bots.
Thank you for the advice!
Possibly having "rope, kids, harem, gypsy" all in one listing might have tripped the bots' alert system. I dunno if Etsy's marketplace police are AI so much as simple bots that are programmed to deactivate suspicious listings. A yes-or-no trip wire situation. Etsy's marketplace police are really not all that sophisticated.
Thank you for the suggest!
