Listing Photos Not Being Displayed. Showing Black Color Listing Display Squares

I see a post that the issue with listing photos not being displayed was corrected possibly on 2/21/23. However today, 2/22/23, my shop is still experiencing the problem and it hasn't been corrected. I have 3 to 5 photos that are not displayed. Also, the number of photos that I can't see will change at different times that I sign in to my shop. Please have technical support submit an update. I have both blacked out and whited out thumbnails.  Both look equally bad.  On top of that Etsy is now hiding all of our shop names.  So, I'm not listing anything.  I would be paying for...............nothing.    20 cents is suppose to pay for a listing.  A whole one.  One with a thumbnail photo that shows the name of my shop.  They don't do that anymore.  Now they just take your 20 cents.

I'm still having a lot of issues with my listing display photos not showing up. They are black thumbnails. Today is 2/23/23. I'm having to cancel my marketing ads because I'm wasting my money. Technical support needs to correct this problem for all of us. I've seen numerous messages about this same system issue and it's not resolved. I tried to reach out to Technical Services but they are no where to be found. I can't reach them my creating a technical system issue ticket any longer. I may put my shop on vacation mode so my listings don't renew and I'm not going to  renew marketing ads until issue is resolved.

I see zero photos loading in my shop. Could it be Etsy or Chrome??? Tried Safari, same thing. Fine on my Iphone, but not loading on my Macbook. No images ; some white and some blacked out. Hope this get's sorted soon!!!!

Just posted a new thread, as Etsy is indicating they may have fixed the issue, but now I am seeing white squares in my shop instead of black.... so still having a problem, unfortunately. Grateful they are looking into this and trying to fix it!

I think I may have found a way to fix my photo thumbnail listing so that they show up. See the following steps (scroll to bottom of page for all info):

1. Go to listing photo that is not showing up and click on it. Edit the listing. Click on the edit tab.

2. The photo that has the problem not being displayed is the first photo when you are editing that listing. Look at the thumbnail ADJUSTMENT  photo. I found that the adjustment photo is NOT displayed by the thumbnail adjustment "icon". Click on the adjustment icon tab. You will see the photo appear. Adjust the photo even if you don't need to =. Save your listing. Refresh your home page and go to the listing that wasn't displayed and you should see it. Volia. It worked for me. I hope it stays displayed.

That's what I have been doing - going in and 're-adjusting' the listing photo - and yes, it does appear afterwards when you save - but I'm playing wack-a-mole because I fix dozens and then a whole new set goes blank..... I don't have time to keep re-adjusting newly blank listing photos all day! This is loosing a lot of people business I'm sure!

So far so good with my updates to many of my listings using the photo adjustment tab in edit mode. However, I will not hold my breath.

I see what is happening.  20 cents does not buy a whole listing anymore.  No shop name and it may not have a thumbnail photo.  

Here's what I think about the shop name thing.  I think if they take us out of the listings that way it makes it easier to view Etsy as just one entity and makes it easier for an otherwise honest buyer to take advantage of the new imposed policy.  The one that says its free if it isn't received on time.  It helps to make the whole thing look as though all is good with taking advantage of it.  It is Etsys policy and all the shops are Etsy.  Could look more as though no one on the other end feels a hurt and you have your order and all your money back.

I'm not sure what you are experiencing regarding shop name and .20 for listings, etc. or if it pertains to the problem for this thread. I have viewed my shop on many computers with and without being logged in. I searched for shop name and my listings. I see every item. Nothing is being hidden based on my searches for my shop and listings. All listings that I had a problem with "I fixed" and no longer see a problem. Steps are below:

Not everyone is seeing the same thing.  For me its whack a mole.  I fix one and there are two more.  The other issue is mentioned in some other threads.  Many are seeing their shop name disappear or become unclickable making it harder for shoppers to find your shop.  We are Borg now.
