Despite clearly stating in my shop that I would be in hospital and postage would be delayed for a short while, and then immediately fulfilling my postage obligations on return from hospital, I have been penalised for "overdue dispatch times". Can somebody look into this and find a way that sellers can amend despatch times when needed, rather than putting our shops on hold/holiday and losing potential sales?

You could have changed your processing times on your shipping profiles.
