Item unavailable in your region error

Error message about not being available in my region....on my own listings.    I've seen several old posts where I can't reply, but here it is 2024 and I'm getting it three times on the same item.  I've tried renewing and now I've relisted the item.  Still getting it.  Can anyone see my aqua checked towel with a bunny, cross and tulip?  I even removed the word Cross in case the bots found it offensive.     I'm able to list other items with no hiccups, but not this towel.  Help, Etsy.  I talked to your customer service and she was going to have someone contact me.  Crickets.

I'm also getting the error so I can't see the details. 

Can you add here what you are using in the description and tags and maybe someone can figure out what's flagging it? 

I know some plants have regulations about going to other places, like in NY there are 74 plants that are banned, but I'm not aware of any prohibitions on tulips.

My third (new listing completely) attempt has a comment about this being my third attempt,  I used no tags, I made the title very simple with no reference to Easter or cross.  Still the same issue.  I posted an unrelated item in between my 2nd and 3 rd attempt with no issues.   Thank you for your response.

I am getting it too and am in the US as well. I cannot see the items details to try to help you. I had a customer in France get this the other day and no clue why. 

can you post your full title and description here? also are your shipping settings all good?

I simply changed it to Easter Towel on my third (brand new listing) attempt.  The title won't update from Bunny and Tulip to Easter Towel now.    I've sold thousands of towels I think and use the same shipping setting on all of them.  Thank you for your help.

So strange! I am in New York State, and can open your other listings without any trouble: it's only the bunny one that doesn't allow me to see it.

Thank you for checking.  For my third attempt, I did a completely new post.  Nothing connected to my two previous attempts.  Weird and frustrating.

can you try making a brand new listing COMPLETELY without relisting or copying it? it would wipe out any issues- make it the same. If it's still happening it's something your title, tags, description or shipping

That's exactly what I did for my third attempt.  And now I just changed the title to Easter Towel and it won't update.   But thank you for the input.   I've had an Etsy shop for over 10 years and have never experienced this glitch.

@WillowRidgeQuilts  Yes, it does, I can read the description, shipping, etc of all of your bunny towels listings. I do not see "this item is not available in your region"

Whatever the reason it is blocked in the US, it isn't in the UK.

@WillowRidgeQuilts: Since Etsy is now also factoring descriptions in search, they along with titles, tags, and materials (and possibly even alt tags if you are using them) are all probably being checked. And the bots are also "reading" images. The problem with trying to guess what the bot does not like is that we do not even know if it is a single factor. It may be some combination of possibly multiple factors which constitute the trigger that flagged your listing.

In the US and I get the "sorry this item is not available in your region" error too on the rabbit towel.

What tags are you using?

Maybe the bots think the cross is some kind of weapon?

Good thought.  No tags on any of the three attempts.  My third attempt was fresh, not a renew like my second attempt.  I might take an old item that went thru and edit with my bunny towel picture and see if it gets flagged.

I can’t open in it either & I’m less the 7 hours from your location.  It’s gotta be a glitch. 
By chance, could you have clicked something unintentionally?  I’ve done that myself.

Curious: Are you using the old relisting version?  Or, are you on the mobile app? Also, have you tried renewing any other items today?
Trying to eliminate all possibilities.

Thank you for your help.  I just listed it for the fourth time and starting to get somewhere now.  I started with a completely unrelated picture and added/published each step as I took baby steps.  I've sold over 6,000 items so I should have it figured out by now lol.  I don't like glitches.    Now my 4th attempt should open for you all.  Thank you

so I think it's your photo- something in it is causing a flag.

it does work now. It's a shame Etsy couldn't get back to you. As I stated I had a locket the other day do the same thing for a customer but it didn't do it for me (he was in France) so think was something on his end. But still has me scratching my head...sometimes photos can flag "bots" for whatever reason if they are an image similar to something not allowed- meaning the way it's laid out, etc. etc. I used to list amber colored necklaces and that got deleted right away by Etsy. You can't use the word amber as in gemstone but mine were amber colored!! It was just ridiculous! anyway glad you got it working!

@laurenblythedesigns  Customers in france are blocked from viewing items over €150, as france wants marketplaces to collect VAT and Customs duties up front and etsy (and ebay and amazon) won't do it.
