This is the 4th time our item was removed as not handmade which is a complete nonsense. We even have a WIPO model patent on this item as we did on previous ones. Etsy support is non responsive. They reactivated the first three items this last one is still inactive. We wrote almost a month ago and nobody answered. Wrote to chat 5 times, no answer. First ticket for the last deactivated item was simply closed and not answered. We opened another ticket. Any advice what we can do here since their support is non existent, we just keep getting same response, that the matter was escalated. Our photos are stolen everyday and listed on ebay, amazon and other platforms.
Not knowing the particulars, did you use a proscribed word that triggered the bots, like "amber"?
If you're having a lot of stealing of images, would it help to have a ghost overlay with your Etsy shop name watermark each listing?
Isn't a WIPO an technical innovation which offers a limited right? I can't see how this would apply to jewelry. I'm not sure how that would work for copyright or trademark.
Not knowing which item it is hard to say. If you photos have been taken for use elsewhere that may be the issue of confusing Etsy about counterfeit item rather than the WIPO. Did you receive a cease and desist letter along with the deactivation? Then you need to talk to the holder. If Etsy has removed this item more than once then you do need to find out what the actual issue is. If you are simply relisting the same item without an okay from Etsy then they are probably now not willing to discuss the listing further.
