It just took me 45 minutes to add 7 photos to new listing using the new Etsy Seller App! This is way to slow and not worth my time. I keep hoping it will get better but it doesn't. This is been an issue for weeks. Has anyone found a solution? Why has this not been fixed?
Have you tried with a browser instead? Is it the app that's the problem, or the new listing page?
Seller App! Not sure how anyone does a listing with that.
Use a desk top computer and the old classic listing layout.
45 minutes... I'd have given up after 5.
Using my desktop it only takes seconds for each photo
This might sound like a silly question but what is the easiest way to get your pictures from your phone to your desktop in seconds? I have used the app forever.
I tried it the old fashioned way the other day by plugging my phone into the computer but I had to wade through all the files and photos to get to the one I wanted. Is there an easier way? Thank you!
Can you store them in the cloud somewhere and grab them from there? or you could even email them to yourself?
What @WitticismsRus said.
@PrettyVintageLinens If you’re on an iPhone and using a Mac, Airdrop is super fast and easy. Just select the photos > share > airdrop.
On non-Apple devices I have no idea but I’m sure there’s an equivalent using Bluetooth.
@PrettyVintageLinens
I use a product from this company to get photos from my phone to my computer.... and if I can figure out how to set it up anyone could do it.

Also... I think OneDrive will back up photos from your phone... maybe?
@PrettyVintageLinens: While a desktop browser seems to be the way to go, the consensus in this forum is that even using your mobile browser is a more pleasant and less frustrating experience than using the app.
Open up a free DropBox account. Transfer your phone pictures to DropBox which is fast and super easy. Then you can quickly upload all your pics to your Etsy store right from Dropbox. It works really well and you can leave the pics in Dropbox or delete them.
Do I download DropBox onto both my computer and my phone? Thanks!
You don't need to use your laptop or download any programs.
Open up the browser on your phone, the one you use to search the internet (chrome, duck duck go, whatever browser iphones use.)
Type Etsy.com into your browser.
Login to your site.
If you have an android, click the 3 dots at the top right corner to get a drop down menu.
Check the box that says "desktop site" or something similar.
You will then be able to manage your store with the same function as a laptop or desktop.
Once you are in your control panel, click the menu at the top left and select "listings".
Tap the + symbol on the top right side.
This will open a listing form
The listing form will have a huge blue banner prompting you to try the new listing form. Ignore that banner.
Tap the "add photos" box. This will take you to the photo folder files on your phone. You can select all the photos here, multiple images at a time. Just be sure to tap the photos in the order you want them to appear.
You can even move between different folders. Just watch the order you select the photos in.
After you select all the photos you want to add, tap "done". The photos will upload all at once. It takes around 3 seconds to upload all 10 photo slots.
You can adjust the thumbnail after photos are uploaded. You might need to save it several times befor it takes.
Make sure your phone is connected to WiFi. Data transfer on a cell connection may be the issue.
