It appears that one of my shops is no longer in existence

I am reaching out to anyone that has ran into this issue as I really don't know how to get in touch with the tech dept. and well, this is rather urgent.

I have 2 shops on Etsy, one being RosebudsOriginals, and the other one as French Rosebud Cottage.

The email I have for contact info 2 different email accounts

A few days ago when I went to check into my RosebudsOriginals shop, it stated that my password no longer worked for that shop. So, when I went in to change my password, it came back as homespunquiltsva in my yahoo inbox. In the past it has always worked for me. It appears that maybe that email has been lost and I am getting really nervous and anxious that I can't get into my RosebudsOriginals shop to respond to email or conduct business. Could you please help me or direct me to someone that can as I have tried to contact Tech support and haven't as of this morning not received an email from them. There is no contact phone info as I know this sounds a bit confusing.

Any help from ya'll would be greatly appreciated.

I've never seen a message that a password no longer works for a shop - unless you are locked out due to suspicious activity.  Have you contacted Support?

You are a Star Seller, and should see the chat bubble (lower right) on your Dashboard right now.

* And by the way, the other shop is in existence - completely open and normal looking.

Re: It appears that one of my shops is no longer in existence

I know it's a first for me too, and I've had the same email for this account for years. There's no info for support and I mailed them at tech support a few days ago about this situation. I am getting a bit nervous as it seems that I feel my account is suspended for some odd reason.

Re: It appears that one of my shops is no longer in existence

Not a problem, some do. The shop I'm having an issue with is RosebudsOriginals, and can't sign in using my password. When I went to change the password in my RosebudsOriginals, it showed up in my email as HomespunQuiltsVa instead of rosebud23834 which I have been using that account for the past 11 years, so I am really stumped and tech support still hasn't contacted me yet.

Re: It appears that one of my shops is no longer in existence

I see both shops.  Open and working.  Did you look for an email?

Contact Etsy via email to ask. I'm not fond of chat for such things but your choice.  Chat should be available now as you are a star seller in  this shop.

It could be that someone was trying to hack and Etsy stopped it.  Check your spam folder.

The Homespun is your shop.  It sounds like something has crossed in the programming that is linking you to an odd email.

Re: It appears that one of my shops is no longer in existence

Thanks JD, and I hardly ever post anything about this, but hoping that I can get some great replies that might help as I have. Unfortunately I can't get into my other shop to ask that of Etsy. I've tried tech support but have not received any reply from them.

JD, when I go to my personal email it comes back as homespunquiltsva, instead of using rosebud23834. Tech still hasn't contacted me, and I'm really getting nervous as there's no way to contact them and the holiday weekend is approaching.

The form is full of complaints about receiving a password error when logging in. Try logging in more than once using your old and new password.

Thanks RiversEdge and Metro, I'm so relieved to hear that I'm not the only one having this problem. I tried doing that, and of course..nada. However will try again tomorrow

Re: It appears that one of my shops is no longer in existence

This may be completely unrelated, however, does the password autofill when you type it in?  And if so, have you tried signing in from a different device or browser?

Re: It appears that one of my shops is no longer in existence

I did Metro, however I got nowhere. I contacted Tech support and still haven't received a message back from them. It's very discouraging as we sellers have no way of contacting them except through email and who knows how long it will take them, if all, to respond back.

@FrenchRosebudCottage

The email addresses for Etsy have been discontinued for years. You will not get a reply if you try to email.

In fact I am surprised the emails have not bounced back to you. The ONLY way to contact Etsy is  thru either Help or your dashboard>community>contact us.

Chat are not Etsy employees as that function is outsourced and they only read from scripts and cannot really help you.

Re: It appears that one of my shops is no longer in existence

This might be unrelated, but did you try closing out of your browser and restarting?  Maybe even restarting your device?

I just did a search on my shop in Safari (I normally use Chrome on my MacBook).  It brought up a bunch of my listings, with the wrong prices, and even my listings showing as ads (I have no ads running at this time).  When I clicked on some of the listings, it brought up listings from other shops.  Some of those images (not my screen, the listing images) were all blurred.  I read a post related to this sometime earlier this week I think.

Anyway, I closed Safari and re-started and the problem went away.  Maybe a good re-boot would help?  Etsy seems REALLY glitchy lately.

That said, I'd be as worried as you are that there might be some suspicious activity.

You can also try to call get a callback from Etsy tomorrow during their business hours:

https://help.etsy.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?segment=selling#issue_sell_manage_listings-callback

Edited to add:  Yes, as @PillowDetails said, reach out from your working account.

Re: It appears that one of my shops is no longer in existence

Thanks Artful I'll try that. I know yesterday I updated my browser thinking that may be an issue dealing with this, but of course...nothing! OBTW, is there a full moon out tonight..lol

I'll try again tomorrow. One of my favorite shows is getting ready to come and must have nightly snacky:-) You all are so wonderful to try to help me out.

I don't know if anybody said this but can you get into your shop on the app?  Both my shops are always open on the app.  A couple of weeks ago when completing an order was sooo messed up I could do it on the app like normal.
