I have noticed there is an issue with the shopping carts this morning. I have tried to remove an item from my cart several times without success. I then tried to just "save for later" but again it will not remove from the cart. Therefore I cannot complete checkout for my other items. Anyone else seeing this??

Browser. I have tried firefox and google chrome, same issue with both. I also tried using both my etsy accounts and same issue with both
Just another manic Monday (oops, I mean Tuesday) here on Etsy.
Looks like only the marvels at Etsy support can resolve as it might be part of some testing they are doing
I'm experiencing this too. I cannot remove items from my cart, I can't click save for later, I can't check out. I can't do anything! And customer service just ghosted on me. And like you, it's not working on any browser, not even my phone, so it's definitely an etsy thing.

I keep getting a notification that I have an item in my cart since yesterday, I do NOT have an item in my cart.
So I added another item to see if both items show in my cart.
That didn't work either.
ONLY the last item I added shows up AND now I cannot remove it plus it's still showing on the cart icon I have 2 items in my cart.
Using desktop W11 with Edge.
yeah I don't like it when people are too lazy to walk 10 steps to the nearest cart return and instead leave the cart in that empty space either.
I have this issue Constantly! And not only that, but ANYTHING I do do modify items in my cart gives me the circle of death and often the same error. I've been on etsy all day today shopping for supplies for my business also on etsy, and I can honestly say this has added literally 3 hours to my day in wait and error time. No exaggeration!
I get errors when trying to save for later, ot remove from cart.
Also- I am not getting a cart total. I cannot even see the discount or total. Even when I select "check out from this shop only".
I am even going to the payment section to see if I can see my total and can not!
I'll also add this has been an issue for YEARS. Not recent. Not months or weeks, YEARS.
I will share all of this with Etsy. But I'm not confident anything will be done. Given this is ongoing (YEARS ongoing), SURLY others have brought to their attention. I've had to suck it up and deal with it, which doesn't feel good knowing my potential customers are experiencing the same issues in Etsy. Idk if the app is any better, but I hate using apps for shopping as I'm a OPEN A BUNCH of pages shopper. Lol.
Idk. I PRAY Etsy sees these and PLEASE (Etsy if you're reading this) DO SOMETHING. I know this Platform is losing business I myself have left many times during this issue due to simply not having the time to deal with it
Maddening to be honest.
A Stitch has gone awry. <--- This is the error page I get every time I try to open up the shopping cart on my desktop Etsy profile. (either browser)
The weird thing is I CAN access my shopping cart on my Etsy phone App.
Customer service says this is a "known" desktop cart issue. It was suggested to me that I may have too many items in my cart which have become unavailable or sold out since I added them. So I check in my app shopping cart to remove them, but when I go back to my desktop to try and view my shopping cart, I still get the Etsy error page : (
This is a really big issue. I have been selling and buying on Etsy for a long time. It is very discouraging that the desktop shopping cart can be so easily corrupted. This is a platform in constant flux and you shouldn't have to contact Etsy support just to get into your shopping cart to complete a transaction....
A bit of background about my cart:
I do often have close to 100 items in my cart at once.
I have also exceeded the "Save for Later" Listing item amount of 1,000 items.
** So now when I try to move items from my cart to save for later Etsy won't let me because my list is too full. Items can only be deleted from the Save for Later area one by one on my Etsy App : (
This really makes me lose faith in the platform : ( I hope they will put this at the top of the bug fix list!!!
I don't think Etsy has fixed it yet. I still can't get my cart page to load on desktop. This has been an on going problem for me for over a month. I think I am going to chat with customer service again about this today.
It occurs to me that I have noticed a lot more 'Guest' checkout coming through in my shop. I wonder if people just abandon their profiles and use Guest checkout on desktop because it doesn't get bogged down with all the profile information we, as buyers, have saved in our profiles?
There is an ongoing thread and the forum moderator asked that issues be reported there in one consolidated place. If people post their checkout problems there it may help as that thread has already gotten mod attention:
