Issue with etsy char

Good morning, 

I am having an issue with my account. I have an order but my chat is currently not working. What can I do to help with this issue.

This is a scam attempt and Etsy has likely already deleted the scammer account which is why you can’t respond. Your shop front shows no sales. Actual sales will show on your shop dashboard under “orders and shipping”, also in your payment account. And, unless the message you received was in the “from Etsy” folder on the website (not the app), it’s a scam and you should send that message to spam. @CherishedChildCrafts: Unfortunately you do not have any sales yet. It is NOT an order - real orders will show up on your Orders & Shipping page and your Payments page.

Also, real messages from Etsy are now going into their own section (labeled as "From Etsy") on your Messages page https://community.etsy.com/t5/Announcements/New-From-Etsy-section-in-Messages/m-p/143722497#M1899 but apparently this is only true when using a browser.

Beware!! You will be receiving many messages from accounts claiming that they are 'Etsy Staff' or 'Etsy Support' telling you to send them your e-mail address because your account has been suspended. Your account is not suspended and Etsy already has all your information.

These are all SCAMS! They target shops, especially the new ones, like yours and mine. They count on our lack of knowledge on Etsy as sellers. Don't give your e-mail address or any bank Information to anyone. Also please don't click on any link sent to you!
