Is this legit?

 The message came in my Etsy inbox from Dayna.

Never seen anything like this before

 

The Etsy support team welcomes you. The buyer has just paid for your product, but verification of your account is required to receive funds for security purposes. Orders from this account are currently suspended. To reactivate your store, please verify your Easy account. Write "QR" in this chat and you will be sent a QR code with a link to the verification page. As soon as the verification is completed, your store will be restored.

In case of refusal of verification, Etsy reserves the right to permanently block you in accordance with the Privacy Policy dated July 24, 2023 (for more information, please visit the website)
We apologize for the discrepancy and thank you for your understanding.

It's a SCAM. Was it in the "from etsy" section of your inbox?

Etsy doesn't do QR codes or take it off etsy, and you don't have to "verify" anything.

They are trying to trick you into divulging your financial info and will then drain your bank account.

Mark the message as spam.

No. Etsy would not need to send you a qr code in chat.

No, it is not legit.  It is a scam.  DO not scan the code, click the link, give them your email, or your bank details.  Mark the message as spam.

SCAM.  

Mark it as spam and do not respond.

They usually target brand new shops, because they are more likely not to know how things work.  It is unusual to see that particular message sent to a long-term seller.
