I had the darndest thing happen. I was filling out the shipping label form and set the date for tomorrow, but just as I purchased the time passed midnight mid-purchase and now the dispatch date is off by a day, making it a late order dispatch. However I can’t find the update ship by date function any more, even though there’s still an Etsy help article about how to update the date.

I don't think you can change the dispatch date once the dispatch date has passed only before or on the final date.
Just checked my order with today's dispatch date and the option to change the date is still available, but the order which left yesterday (which had yesterday's dispatch date does not have that option)
The "update ship by date" function is only available until one day before the shipping day, and after midnight, not anymore.
You can only update one time.
Sorry this is happening. Can you cancel the label and create a new one?
Thanks for the advice. So it’s set for tomorrow but I’m dispatching today. Does that seem right for how it’s supposed to work?
I have just done a similar thing. Dispatched an order today but selected tomorrows date as dispatch date. I don't have the 'update ship by date' option available. The dispatch date of tomorrow is still within processing timeframe, but just curious why I can't change it.
Did you sort this out by the way
