Is anyone having issues viewing listing images on Chrome using an iPad?

Today when I clicked on a listing (another shop not my own) I noticed that the images were completely obscured by the title text and not clickable. The overall listing was disjointed compared to the usual format of listings and how they read. Has anyone else experienced this?

Today, all of my images on my shop page have gone square! I know this was an old test a year ago, but for some reason, it's happening again now, and I really dislike it. All of my images are specifically formatted in landscape view, so square is cutting off the edges. Please stop this ridiculous test Etsy. The more testing you do, the lower my morale is sinking. I'm not far off moving my shops elsewhere because I don't think any of this messing about is constructive from a sellers point of view. If you have time to spend tinkering with things, try solving the issues with Etsy Search, which is dreadful.

This wasn’t just cropping - I’ve noticed that in my shop too.

This was the sellers listing images completely obscured and unclickable by the title text. It was an ’EtsyPick’ too. Had I not known this shop had an Instagram page which I browsed the relevant images before purchasing, they would have lost a sale. This shop has reported slow sales at frequent intervals this past year. I’m wondering if their obscured listing images is why?

Is this a test or a browser issue?

I have a very old iPad that I still use but it can't be updated anymore due to the age.  It works fine, though. I mostly use it for Kindle. Anyway, I just checked on it, using chrome and everything appears normal for me.  I checked a number of listings and shops with no issues.

@Soapsmith Thanks for taking the time to reply. My iPad is new (last year) Maybe this is a test then? I will have another browse tomorrow.

I am seeing weird tiled photos that are not clickable, and the photos are NOT from the item in question, but from OTHER random listings (in the same shop). Etsy is definitely doing some 'upgrade' that no one asked for and will probably roll out next month. I am seeing this phenomenon in both my shops (safari desktop)

Your issue is a known Safari problem. I've been having this for months and there are posts on the Apple forum about it, yet it persists.
