First my stats are being wonky and now I listed 3 new items hours ago. They show up in my Listings on my dashboard but do not appear in my shop. Anyone know what's happening?
Sometimes there's a delay. I've never experienced an hours-long delay....did you try refreshing the browser?
yes
something been going on today with both stats and listings in the shop, some listings are disappearing but re-appear later and the stats keep showing -- one minute and then they appear the next before it turns to -- again
Yes I am also seeing that in my stats if I go in through the browser on my iPad, however n my phone in the new app I can see all the stats, who knows why? Sometimes these things happen and usually resolve themselves fairly quickly. Guess they’re just tinkering with things?
Their "test" for vintage shops and "let's make a deal" policy went live on April 5. Maybe something with that scheme caused our stats etc to go wonky?
I do wish they would concentrate on fixing the important glitches or securities before trying to roll out pointless additions which do not benefit anyone
@ShopMollyd My stats were wacky but now it's back to "normal". I just noticed the layout in Advertising changed around.
@ShopMollyd I posted this response in another thread that was helpful, accepted as a solution and is working for many as a workaround regarding stats:
Go to today in your dashboard, then click yesterday and then click today again and they will show.
This is a glitch of some kind. Not sure when it will get resolved.
As to the new listings issue.. it appears that whatever the nature of the glitch is seems to be affecting various aspects of the platform.
"Is Etsy experiencing some kind of glitch????"
The answer is yes. It's always yes because Etsy is always experiencing a glitch or bug somewhere within their site.
At any given time on any given day something will be buggy, broken, glitched or otherwise not working correctly.
They need to find a whole new set of designers who excel at creating a positive user experience. Etsy thinks it's fooling everyone by forcing clicks to their pages. It's shocking to me that *only recently* did they allow you to mark ALL items on sale as opposed to actively selecting each category. Nothing about the user experience is smooth for sellers...there's always a glitch. I blame the designers and tech team!
I'm not sure they even have professional designers. The software gets changed but what specs are the developers working from. A few sentences in an email?
As for a test team, well... don't hold your breath.
I take it back my Dashboard Stats Overview still says "No Stat" and have to manually change.
Yes, for now you have to do it manually until they resolve what triggered this issue.
