I don't like how the description of our products is added, which is practically invisible to the customer. I sell PDF files and this information is not visible to the customer. I have a client who purchased a PDF thinking that it was a real product that would be sent to him by mail. The customer may feel cheated and leave me a not necessarily good review. Do we have to be responsible for Etsy's technical solutions? I wouldn't say I like it.
Add "instant download" to your titles.
Why should I be the one to solve problems created by Etsy? There is a strange empty space. It's not just that the customer doesn't see what type of product it is. He also doesn't see the description and therefore doesn't see information about what this product contains, which is very important. Where should I put this information?
@PinkMoonCreationArt While I hate this new idea of Etsys more than anyone can, there is really nothing wrong with your listing title stating clearly what the product actually is. Its a good idea anyway.

This new idea is a test. If Etsy adopts it permanently I don't want to quit selling here, but I have to. It's financial liability to sell online without a description. The way they are in this test is as good as not having one.
I can see your descriptions just below "add to cart"
Then you aren't in this test that so many threads are about.
It is not true that you can see my description under "add to cart" I have a second store from which I can see my PinkMoonCreationArt store and unfortunately this description is not under the cart. There is an empty space.I wonder what this empty space is for.

Only some people are in the test. The test is with what people see as a buyer when shopping. So, not all buyers are seeing your shop this way. Some still see the description where it was before.
As with all tests (which are user based), I see it one way, then another day it's different. Yesterday (as well as on other days), the Description was on the Left, way down below the Reviews. With a gaping white space on the Right, where it used to reside. Today, I see the Description back on the Right side. I can see where Buyers who are in this test may think the Seller didn't add the Description. It would make sense if it was under the photo, but not under Reviews; that isn't even logical. It's about as illogical as the truncated Titles test (which is still going on).
Its so bad that even when I scroll down I scroll past it and then back up to look for it more carefully. Its mostly hidden where you still have to click.
