I ship from Canada to the rest of the world on a regular basis. International surface is the option many buyers are making because it is half the cost of the other options. This shipping option takes from 4 - 12 weeks to be delivered, especially to destinations like Australia and New Zealand. Yet, for some reason, my customers are being given an estimated delivery date of 6 weeks.
This is causing many of my customers to think that their orders are lost and to request a refund when this false expectation is not met. Can we please have a more accurate delivery date on our orders? or better yet, a date range?
I send a message with every order giving the accurate delivery range but this is not what they see when the look at their order. They see Etsy's artificial estimated delivery date. I am tired of having to try to calm down upset customers unnecessarily.
Please, Etsy?
This is still a problem. I had another buyer message me today asking where their order was. Can we get this fixed please?!
