Several years ago I listed a vintage wedding band that was set with brown, white and yellow diamonds. In my title I described the color of the brown diamonds as brandy diamonds.
A company called Brandy Diamonds took offence and had etsy remove my listing. I never bothered to try to relist it until now. I changed the title to say brown diamonds and made a few more fixes and when I tried to publish it I wasn't given the choice.
Does anyone know the procedure to get it accepted now? I'm thinking I'll need to try to contact Etsy through an email and wait for a reply from them.
If it was copyright infringement, you needed to have issued a counter dcma claim within 2 weeks
If it was trademark infringement, only the holder can request it to be relisted.
There is nothing you can do with that listing.
Create a new listing, with the new words
Just copy the listing.
Thank you. I'll try that.
I would just write a new listing and change whatever you feel appropriate to avoid issues with that company.
Yes, I'll do that. Thanks.
You can't relist a deactivated listing. You need to start over or copy and remove the offending terms.
OK. Thanks!
Listing carry hidden meta tags that we cannot see--that is why you cannot relist it. the only way is as posted above--you have to make and entirely new listing.
Thank you. Will do it.
