Hi, I don't know if anyone else has had an issue like this but currently I have star seller badge with 100% for all categories. Recently someone sent me a message, but due to a glitch the exact same message showed in my inbox twice from the same person/same time. I responded to one of the messages within minutes of receiving it. But I noticed today Etsy have knocked me down to 90% for my message response time. After downloading my message history, it's the glitch message they have done this for. How can I rectify it and how can I even contact someone from Etsy? It seems really unfair to be penalised for a technical error on Etsy's side!

It should. It make take a couple of days.
You have no way of knowing whether it was a glitch or the other person accidentally sent it twice. Either way, you need to reply or mark as spam, as with all messages.
Both messages were sent at the exact same time as each other, that makes me think it is a technical glitch rather than two separate messages, they were a complete duplicate both sent at 17.33
Either way, a response from you is necessary. We must respond to every message thread no matter what.
Your SSB stats will go up within 24-48 hours after you mark it as spam

I did respond, within minutes of receiving the message. It would have looked a bit silly responding to the duplicate message. If it was two different threads of conversation fair enough, but this wasn't
