Incorrect currency

Hi, I have just noticed that my packing slips are showing in USD instead of AUD.  My shop is set to Australian dollars as a default and the listings are showing up in AUD so why are packing slips showing US.? The order I had was also from Australia so that's the currency they paid in. I'm at a loss to why this has suddenly started happening. It's been fine up to now.  Any ideas?

The packing slip shows in the currency the purchaser has chosen.  Perhaps your purchasers are Americans shipping to friends and family in Australia.   Purchasers can change their location at the bottom of the screen.

Even though everything else is in your currency packing slips are in the currency the buyer chooses. I'm in the US and ship to Canada and their packing slips are in Canadian currency which confused me for a long time. When you have questions don't hesitate to come to the forums as there are many here willing to help when they can.

I'm in Australia and just checked an order I received a few hours ago - the packing slip shows up in AUD. 

As mentioned by people above, if it's just an order here or there then the reason the packing slip shows USD is that the buyer checked out in USD.  They might have been a buyer in the US shipping to someone in Australia, or they might have been someone in Australia intentionally or unintentionally checking out in USD - sometimes people don't realise they're buyer settings are set to USD and some people have access to USD funds e.g. on a travel credit card.

If however it seems that it's affecting lots of orders then you could get that confirmed via Etsy Support.
