110 in-person Square transactions from Saturday 3/18 are not showing up in my shop tally nor has 0.20 been charged to my payment account for each transaction. I do this nearly every weekend. Square is always linked to my shop, LadyAlchemy13. Can anyone help?
Update / clarification: I didn't receive any Etsy in-person transaction emails that day. The transactions ARE showing up as completed orders for that date in the Etsy shop manager.
I also sent a mesage to Etsy, since I can't even sync up my shop to Square since December 2022.

In this Thread, the OP had the same problem. Contacted someone from Etsy and reported the problem resolved.

Did either of you use Contact: Shop Manager > Community & Help (Left Column) > Contact Us? Or if you are a Star Seller, there is a Chat Icon lower Right corner in Shop Dashboard.
OR
Help Page (for Selling) > Your Etsy Account (bottom Right of Page) > Contacting Etsy.
If the response does not address your problem, do not start a new Ticket. Respond directly to that email, "I still need help." (Starting a new Ticket pushes you back further in line).
I sincerely hope this helps.
(BTW, I usually do a couple of shows in the Fall. And do not sync Square with Etsy. Keep them totally separate. Anything I take to the shows, I Deactivate here. If it doesn't sell, I bring it back and Reactivate it). But you guys should do as you prefer; just wanted you to know.
@SeffsSweetsStitches Good luck. I hope it gets resolved soon!
@FeltOnTheFly The benefit of syncing Square with Etsy for me is seeing the shop sales tally increase. People may disagree, but I think it's worth it to pay Etsy $0.20 per transaction and I consider it an "advertising fee". As the sales number increases, Etsy should be showing my shop to more potential customers which will lead to more online sales. I'm nearing the 10,000 sales mark and I'm really curious to see if I notice a difference then.
@ChillwolfArt Thank you! I'll try to contact Etsy in one of the ways you've suggested. I *had* Star Seller status for months, then lost it this month due to not having any reviews. With most of my sales happening in person, reviews are something I really can't control. Regarding the link of the other person with a similar problem, it's interesting they changed the "location" of their shop. I wonder if that's the location when you go into Square (there can be several) or the location when you Click on "Edit Shop" from Shop Manager. I did the Edit Shop one a few days ago. Maybe that caused the problem.

It's possible that it caused the problem, but I don't know for sure, sorry.
ChillwolfArt, Yes I did contact Etsy through the Star Seller chat function. They said they would update me when the issue is resolved, just haven't heard back yet.
@SeffsSweetsStitches Aw shoot, Thank You for confirming this.
I do have the Chat Button in Dashboard (don't know why; Shop has been on Vacation after the Fall). Also I have nothing to go by personally re: interactions with them. But others who have used Chat (Star Seller) stated that they seemed to receive more knowledgeable Support via Chat in Help (in regards to the Pre-Transit fiasco). Shouldn't be this way, but that was the reported outcome.
I hope you get this resolved.
What is the benefit of syncing Square with Etsy? Aren’t you paying fees to both when you do that? If you’re selling in person, and using square for the transaction, how does Etsy figure in?
Not really. Etsy charges $0.20 for each transaction, but you only get charged a square fee when you accept a credit card payment. It just makes it easier to update my inventory in my Etsy shop (and your Sales total increases on your Etsy shop home page (for people who visit your store).
