In Transit when in fact Already Delivered

Why is this happening again? It was good for a while but now some of my orders are stuck "In Transit" when in fact they were shipped same day as ordered and already delivered. It has a negative effect on my shipping score. Hope Etsy looks into this since we are paying for a service that is not functioning as it should!

It's the date when you purchase the label and "complete" the order that determines star seller calculations. Eternal "Pre-transit" status has no effect on star seller nor dings otherwise in any way. I have a handful of orders in eternal pre-transit status over the years. It's all good. It's just the system not working between two companies 100% of the time. But, within Etsy.com, as long as the order is "completed status" with a tracking number by the ship date, no worries.

Well... I have 49 orders that are showing "no tracking" and they ALL had tracking and have been delivered! It IS putting my SS at risk and is just plain not cool I have called... I have gone to chat... I have emailed and replied to email from Etsy... nothing, nada... no fix... except the numbers just keep going up every day! In the good old days, a hundred years ago when this would happen, there was a little button to "update tracking" just in case you had manually (yes, I said maually... LOL)... typed in the wrong tracking number but that fail safe has disappeared, uknfortuneately! Any help on this would be soooo appreciated!

I have some orders in "transit" forever... it doesn't affect your star seller status.

You are in a lot of good company! Pretransit has been a constant issue since March 1. Apparently it is not affecting some shops shipping metrics for SS but it absolutely IS affecting VERY MANY shops. In fact affecting them so badly, shops have been put on RESERVE for non shipment. Check out the larger threads on this subject.

My stuck pre-transit and transit have never affected my stats, but it seems to affect the stats of other sellers. It has been going on for months

It absolutely can affect Star Seller stats! There are a ton of us with our shipping percentages dropping every day because of this newest pre-transit issue. 

Supposedly a fix is being worked on, but it's been over a week without any updates.

Yes i have noticed my past 3 orders say pre transit when in fact they are delivered and its affecting my star seller stats!! Etsy please fix this issue!

I wonder if it is affecting the star seller stats per region, I may be wrong but the other seller who mentioned it does not affect their stats like mine is also in Europe

There is a glitch , not resolved and the companies involved are all trying to shift the blame. Etsy, and USPS. Apparently you even get it using outside shipping companies such as Pirate Ship. Pirate Ship says it is a USPS glitch. Etsy says they fixed it but obviously it is not fixed.

@RonniesCandlesLLC: "It has a negative effect on my shipping score." Your Star Seller shipping percentage is based on shipped on time with tracking, NOT on delivered. If your shipping percentage is affected, you need to check the applicable CSV file on your Star Seller page (last review period for December star) to see what Etsy thinks is late or otherwise has something wrong with it. In particular make sure that *Had processing time?* = yes, *Ship by* has a date, *Tracking/label date* has a date, and *Shipped on time?* = yes. Remember that Star Seller dates / times are in UTC not your time zone.

95% of my orders say still in transit and those customers have contacted me to apologise for not leaving a review. Since March only a handful of people have been able to leave reviews.

@BexMoonyArt: If the actual order shows a status of at least "In Transit" then the tracking number has been validated, so it is an issue of how often and accurately your shipping courier scans packages and when and  if AfterShip is able to retrieve that information and update Etsy.

Even if it does not show as delivered, people can leave a review when it is past it's expected delivery date,

Which is why buyers can leave reviews saying it's not arrived yet

Just an update, I called customer services and the updated all of the orders so they now show as received. It was quite easy in the end.

It happens to all my orders apart from the ones I sell to other people in Europe. I’m wondering why dont etsy have mark as received button for buyers like Vinted do…

vinted is very different, they use delivery confirmation to release payments

With etsy, you get the money on purchase, you don't have to wait for delivery

with vinted sellers don't get paid until the buyer marks it as delivered, or it's 4 days after delivery date and they have not requested a return, whichever is first

I have an order that is stuck in transit. The buyer hasn't contacted me. But I don't know what to do about this. I am sure it was delivered. How can I fix this? I am new to Etsy so my shop is on reserve right now

I have the same experience:  I did put in the T&T,  changed it /corrected it,  in the Etsy Portal now I can see the T&T. 

But my Shop Manager says:   I order has no T&T > but I can see it > Now  I will lose my Topsellers status.

     How to correct this becorse the computer analysis are not correct:

Had this issue again, Etsy showing a USPS label as "UPS" in system. Customer confirmed this so I added same tracking # as an "additional package" and this time it detects that it's a USPS label and is already delivered. Issue is that it dinged Star Seller metric, although that's not much of a concern to me.  Chatted with Etsy, they said it *might* update correctly since I had added the "extra" package.  This has happened before at least twice that I've caught, so figured mention/bump it in case it's an issue worth addressing.  Still not sure how it turns the same # into two carriers, but oh well lol

Has this issue been fixed yet?   I'm fairly new to Etsy and already having the issue with delivered packages showing as In Transit (purchased the shipping label with tracking on etsy).
