But also, you might see in your stats that an item was favorited but not viewed because the stats need to update. For example, a buyer fav'd it at 2 pm, but the view stats haven't been updated since 10 am.
It's not really that perplexing as the replies above explain. Items can be favorited without opening the listing. If it isn't opened it won't register a view.
