Hello everyone,
I have a problem I can't solve. I would like anyone who has had a similar problem and can solve it or think of something to solve it, please help. We just created our store. In the meantime, we encountered suspicious messages requesting our e-mail address. Since we were both new and excited, we sent the messages to the spam file by simply writing "hello" so that the system would not think that we did not respond to the incoming messages. We later learned that we shouldn't have done this. The system detected us as spam and blocked us. As reported, we contacted Etsy support line regarding the issue. We sent 3 emails at different times and also contacted live support. We did not receive any response. We cannot respond to incoming messages. That's why we slowed down product loading. We have slowed down the integration with our social media accounts. Because we can't see what's ahead of us. Does anyone know how the Etsy support line can resolve this type of issue or any other way we can reach them?
*I also read the support requests opened in this forum by sellers who had the same problem a few months ago. I am opening this issue because I cannot see how the sellers who were not contacted later solved the problem. Thank you for your understanding.
I don't think you get banned for spamming for replying to a spam message or many of the experienced shop would have have their message ability taken away.
Spamming is initiating contact without someone contacting you first, this will get your messages disabled
Thank you for the answer. You are right. However, in this case, it will be more difficult to understand why I cannot send messages. Because I didn't text anyone.
Hi my names is Inez I have the same problem, that happened to me to I have tried to reach Etsy but no one will respond I have tried everything.
Hello Inez,
If I find a way, I will write to you here. But frankly, there is no solution other than hoping that they see these messages and want to take action.
