Dear Etsy Support:
I am experiencing this problem.I use my iMac in my studio and my iPad pro at home.i used to be able to tweak a photo if i wasn’t so happy with how it looked, i could download it on my iPad and correct the sharpness, saturation, etc, and then upload it again. In addition, i could also edit my listings if necessary. Now that is off limits.
On shopify and other selling platforms, this accessibility has not been throttled in this way at all! We sellers need access to listings, and by limiting access, Etsy cannot be considered user-friendly for sellers. Also, by throttling sellers, Etsy is taking a step backwards at a time when technology is improving by leaps and bounds. Etsy has been great for me as a seller for 14 years, but i have never been more unsatisfied. I sincerely hope that Etsy will be circumspect about this wrongheaded decision, and rethink how they can thrive by increasing security and accessibility ,rather than refusing to modernize.
Are you using the Etsy Seller app or the browser on your ipad? If the app then try the browser.
It is unlikely that Etsy is throttling per se, more likely it is a bad back end implementation - reading between the lines of other posts they particularly have issues with how Apple implements things especially if there has been a recent Apple update. You don't mention if you are experiencing this using an app or a browser but that may also play a factor.
Are you using the latest version software? Sometimes this can be the issue with Apple devices.
I also suggest using the desktop / browser site rather than the app.
I don’t understand why you are having that problem. I always upload adjusted photos from my iPad to my listings
I’m using mine with no issues. What problems are you experiencing? Have you tried shutting down your iPad completely to clear the RAM or clearing your cache files?

Thanks! Works perfectly…i had not even thought of that!
There was just a software update. This may affect the functionality of some programs.
I wonder if this is the source of all the iPad iPhone /Etsy app issues lately?

I have a fairly new MacBook- (about 6 most old).. and my iPad is not much older. I am not having the problems you are talking about at all. Have you checked your settings? I know that it is pretty easy to hit the wrong thing. And yes.. I have had Apple products for lots of years.. my current ones are just upgrades to my older devices.
I agree to use a browser setting on your devices. The app is limiting where you can just create an icon on your devices that links to the browser settings instead of the app.
