Dear INDIAN Community members
I need help on following Technical issue .
THIS IS REGARDING BRC GENERATION OF EXPORT ORDERS RECIEVED VIA ETSY
Before 1 AUGUST 2024-
ETSY BILLING CHARGES - Charged by ETSY and paid by seller via Credit Card or UPI (On Monthly Basis)
SALES AMOUNT - Seller receives in PayPal (For e.g. - 100 USD PayPal Fees - 5 USD , Net Amount = 95 USD )
IRM Amount for Seller Bank - 95 USD (AS PER EDPMS)
EXPORT INVOICE VALUE - 95 USD
BRC AMOUNT 95 USD
AFTER 1 AUGUST 2024-
ETSY BILLING CHARGES- DEDUCTED From Sales amount and If there are no sales - paid from Credit card or UPI
SALES AMOUNT - Received in ETSY Payments (For e.g. - 100 USD ETSY Fees - 5 USD , Net Amount = 95 USD )
*Suppose listing and advertisement charges are 20 USD ,
NET AMOUNT Transferred to PAYONEER is ( 95-20 = 75 USD)
Amount transferred From PAYONEER to Seller Bank Account = 75 USD
IRM Amount for Seller Bank - 75 USD (AS PER EDPMS)
EXPORT INVOICE VALUE - 95 USD
BRC AMOUNT - here the problem that we are facing
Invoice value is 95 USD and IRM created by bank is 75 USD
we are not able to generate BRC as amount IRM amount isnt enough.
Problem is ETSY is deducting listing and advertisement charges from sales amount which is not in accordance with Indian Accounting System .
Please help on this.
when you had paypal, etsy had to bill you separately for fees, because they don't get the money.
now they have the money first, they deduct the fees, then transfer the balance.
That is perfectly acceptable thing to do.
How each person accounts for it, in their countries accounting system is down to them, etsy is a selling platform, not an accounting system.
.....
In your finances section, view all monthly statements, if you go to a month that is finished, you can download a pdf statement, would that be good enough for evidence ? ..... you won't be able to check Augusts, until 1st september
