Hello friends,
I ship my products on time. It will be shipped within 12 hours at the latest. But yesterday I see 83% shipping rate, today I see 81% shipping rate. There is not even one delayed shipment. In fact, the review for the order that was considered delayed came quite quickly!
I request that those who have problems with this issue please write to this forum!
I'm a starseller this month, but next month, according to Etsy's new system, I won't be a starseller. Please check your markets regarding this matter.
I noticed 2 of my orders remained in pre-transit 5 hours after they had been scanned and dropped off at the post office on Monday. Contacted Etsy and they fixed something, which worked and the scanning updates appeared in my dashboard.
I would suggest checking your orders a few hours after the drop off has been scanned and if there is an issue contact Etsy. If you notice to late or leave it too long, they may not be able to do anything.
That is good advice.
Thank you @DaysofYoreTreasures
The tracking was notoriously glitchy when I was in the EU, I just got in the habit over the years of checking everything when it came to tracking on Etsy.
Works for me
I've had the same this month with message responses, I've been through all my messages for the month and cannot find a single one that wasn't responded to within the day, but I got 92% and lost star seller. I wasn't too bothered at first as I think the whole thing is very gimmicky, but then suddenly my shop has gone deadly quiet, may be a coincidence but I find the whole thing a bit sketchy.
Same here..we used to be a 100% for 'On-time shipping & tracking', now it's 89%.
Download your shipping report, and you'll see that some orders are incorrectly marked as 'not shipped on time'.
for ship on time with tracking, download the csv
it will say whether it is the ship on time bit that is a problem, or recognising the tracking
For messages, do the same, download the csv, and you will see which one etsy thinks you missed - it is 24 hours exactly, not just the next day
In your csv file, does it show these orders as having no processing time associated with them? There is a known glitch where some orders lose their processing time and this causes Etsy to mark them as late dispatch. It's been a reported issue since the inception of the programme, Etsy seems to have no interest in sorting it. I would bug Etsy support and get them to escalate it - the more reports they gets the more incentive they have to prioritise a fix.
I've noticed recently as well that when comparing an newer version of the csv to an older version, some of the orders that were originally recorded as all fine have been updated to show a missing processing time and thus dispatched late. I originally see all 'yes' and dispatched on time, and then when I download again a few weeks later some of those same orders are now 'no' processing time and marked as late.
Someone reported years ago that Etsy support had told them it was an issue caused by a customer checking out from multiple shops at the same time. I've never received confirmation from Etsy on that but it does seem so without rhyme or reason as to which orders are hit that an explanation like that would make some sense.
You're right, it's all random..I checked out all the orders that were incorrectly marked 'shipped too late' (54 in total), but I couldn't find a pattern.
I've been in contact with Etsy about this for almost a week, but all I get are standard replies that doesn't anwer my questions.
I have been fighting with this since August. I have repeatedly contacted Etsy until someone fixed something in November and it started showing accurately. This lasted until December 1st where it has now gone wrong again. I have tried to contact them and have been fobbed off with 'it is a bug we are working on' and the last advisor I did online chat with hasn't ended the chat so I can't contact anyone else for help - I have been trying for DAYS!
It's been going on for me since the beginning of January this year. Stats dropped from 100% to now 82%. Feel like I'm in danger of being penalised in search or even kicked off the site if I drop below 80% and stay there. Etsy support has taken literal MONTHS to respond to me throughout. No hope in sight. Am putting all my energy into moving my focus away from Etsy next year.
