I've been put on holiday mode without me asking. Can't see what I did wrong to get this.

My store has just made it's first sale which was a digital download, and payment went through fine and I have received no feedback from the buyer so I assume all went ok at their end. My account is now in credit which is good. However I have suddenly seen my store has been put on vacation mode and when googling for solutions to put it off vacation mode end up referring to buttons or options which I am not seeing on the holiday mode screen.

------

Each of my product pages says "This shop is taking a short break."

My store page says "LaDiDaAesthetics is taking a short break" and apparently I said "Hello and thanks for visiting! I’m working on fulfilling my current orders right now, but will be back soon."

My holiday page in my settings says

store page > settings > options > holiday

"We put your shop on pause

To help you manage your current orders and keep your shop in good standing, we’ve temporarily paused your shop. During this time, buyers      will see your shop in holiday mode."

------

I have seen that this has happened to other stores and it often turns out that they have made errors, mostly falling short on fulfilment. However I can not see what I could have done wrong here. It was a digital download so I doubt it is a fulfilment issue.

I have also been getting emails telling me I have earned new ranks now I have made a sale, so I am curious if that has something to do with it. Is this typical for new stores. Do we all get a break to prepare ourselves for looming success?

This usually happens with new stores after their first sale.

Check your emails. Most likely Etsy is asking for ID verification.
