I use tracking for every order, but I am losting my star status

I always use USPS flat rate padded envelops, and they always include tracking.  I purchase thru Pirate ship.  But, during the last few weeks, Etsy says I am shipping with out tracking!  I have never ever shipped without tracking. I am losing my Star Seller status because of this.

Etsy has always - till recently - recognized all my tracking numbers too, and I use Pirateship too.  I input the tracking manually immediately after I ship an order.  Now recently Etsy says there's no tracking or my packages are "pre transit" - sometimes. Sometimes not.  You're not alone - there are a ton of threads in the forums about this "pre transit" or non existent tracking issue.

I marked a message as spam close to two months ago and my response rate is wrong. That whole system is full of glitches.

I had a dispute with Etsy support a few months ago. I was using PirateShip for my international orders because I really hate Etsy's third party. I'll spare you the details, but tracking IN ETSY showed the order had been delivered and had a USPS tracking number. I spoke with Etsy CS on the phone and kept being told there was not a tracking number. But, there was!! Right there where we both could see it. The CS rep finally told me that Etsy doesn't recognize USPS tracking numbers if they weren't generated within Etsy itself. So, you can see the tracking number, the customer can see the tracking number, even real Etsy people can see the tracking number right in the customer's receipt. But Etsy won't recognize it. Silly little traps. Now I have to use Etsy global shipping partner to protect myself.

That rep gave you bad info. I don't use etsy labels; I'm old school and go to the PO to purchase my shipping. I've had over 2000+ packages where I hand-input my tracking info and it's always been recognized.
