I updated a ship by date due to the winter storm, did not update

Hello!
I updated a ship-by date for my customer on the Etsy app, and it updated and my customer confirmed in a message that they could see the updated time. However this morning when I updated my order as complete, it reverted back to the original ship-by date and is showing that I shipped late.

@KaylasCustomGaming: There have been several other reports in this forum of this happening. Perhaps one of the Etsy people who look at some these posts can shed some light.

The app may not have transferred the data.  Did you check the web version to see if it had been updated?

Wait 24 hours to see if it corrects itself.  If not contact Etsy support,

Yes, I also checked the web version from my PC. I did originally update the ship by date from my phone, but I was using the desktop version, so it shouldn't make any difference.

Re: I updated a ship by date due to the winter storm, did not update

I had this same thing happen to me. Post office (USPS) was closed on Monday, the day after Christmas. I knew that, so I went into my [3] orders and updated the "ship by" date to Tuesday. All three buyers were notified of this via Etsy email (I have proof and screenshots). So yesterday I contacted Etsy support about this, via their chat. The rep told me to wait 24 hours to see if it gets resolved. Here it is Thursday, 3 days since I updated the date, and it's still showing "orders shipped late", and my Star Seller rating will be recalculated in 48 hours. Humans program computers, so it's not the "system's" fault. Someone had to go in and change things around to make it not work correctly. Now they need to go back in and fix it.

So what do I do now? Spend my precious time "re"-contacting Etsy support only to be told to wait another 24 hours? I feel like they're just buying time.
