I'll tell you how etsy destroyed my business.

I live in Ukraine, I have a stained glass workshop MojoArtGlass, I'm a stellar seller for over a year now, I started doing the workshop seriously since the beginning of the war. This sad story began a couple months ago when I received a message from etsy to switch from Paypal to Payoneer, I started watching videos, watching step-by-step instructions and decided, I thought with Payoneer it would be easier to get to a good performance before the holidays....

I registered on Payoneer, my account was confirmed, I thought it was strange that my account was confirmed so quickly, I wrote to support asking if the data I gave for etsy was enough, they said I didn't have enough documents (driver's license, passport or International passport).
I sent my passport without any problems, I waited 24 hours and it was confirmed...
All that was left was to press a button and I connected Payoneer, the next day my workshop was sent on vacation.... I was surprised, I started to write to support, I had several dialogs in the chat support, because there are people who can not help and said to wait for a letter to mail ... well I waited for the letter - I was told that my Payoneer account is not verified, of course I immediately started to write to Payoneer support ... I found out that I still lack documents, namely Receiving accounts questionnaire and Complete bank verification....
I didn't worry much at that time, I didn't know what I had to do, I confirmed everything in 24 hours, I wrote to support and they confirmed that I was fully verified and ready to work with etsy.

As a result, etsy support has been keeping my workshop on vacation for 4 weeks)))
I couldn't think that in order to understand at least a little bit what's going on I would need to create several new workshops, connect Payoneer to them and explain to one of the agents in chat support that I have a fully working Payoneer account, that's how my first 2 weeks went.
The next 2 weeks I went through 100500 verifications that I am me and not another person, etsy support responds the fastest is once a day, each time a new employee who does not understand what is the matter.
The other workshops just banned me.
I didn't realize that a marketplace as big as etsy had such terrible support.

Now I'm sitting without work and every day I write to support))) all have a good holiday hohoho)

The support has always been their biggest issue and still is. Sorry to hear.

So sorry to hear this is happening to you, but DO NOT open a new issue or contact Etsy multiple times about the same issue (doing so appears to close the one you already opened and puts the new one on the bottom of the pile). Every eMail from Etsy support should have a link something like "I Still Need Help". Click on that link (or actually reply stating that you still need help) to keep the report alive or Etsy will assume that it is resolved. You may have to do this innumerable times, but once on each Etsy reply before anything is done but do not give up.

look, the longest correspondence is 23 messages at my request, out of 23 only 9 are Etsy support, and every time the message is like an answering machine..
those people who talked with Etsy support will understand what I'm talking about...
It seems to me that the problem here is that Etsy support cannot respond to the problem by corresponding via mail in 2023, although it’s good that they don’t send letters by pigeons

Same story with me, My shop is also on vacation mode now i am tired to write support. No one helping. Says i have to open new account but truth is that in india no one can open new etsy shop. Anyway when i have nice and grow shop why we need to make another shop. So disappointed and no work at all.

It is payoneer that validates you, they are the people who check, you need to contact payoneer

Thousands of times i have contacted payoneer each time payoneer says i need to contact etsy but when i contact etsy he give me payoneer contact support details. I don't know what should i do now so disappointed.

Actually you are replying without understanding the issue properly. Payoneer has verified. If there is a issue of clubbing smoothly between Etsy Payments and Payoneer, teams from both sides have to trouble shoot the small issues or glitches and let the shop owner have a smooth sailing. How with Etsy and Paypal it was smooth, as PayPal is really fantastic to interact with. They are really responsive.

I even phoned Israel Payoneer office from India, as the telphone no. was provided with conference ID and I was really disappointed after my call was accepted, the team leader didn't come to talk to me and I kept waiting with international phone charges levied for 6 minutes or more with a usual music wait tone. And then on its own cut off. Same case happened in India since last 5 days, I called with their appointed time, and the same story,,they accept the call and make you wait and then cutoff. Then from my computer desk top the video conference link is there and they make you wait for half hour and no staff comes and they shut off. This is how Payoneer is in India.

How Do I Use a Payoneer Account With Etsy Payments? – Etsy Help  I know this comes to late to help you and I am sorry for the situation you are in.

Have you contacted Payoneer to make sure everything has been validated?  Then take one email that you received from Etsy and use that to ask them for more assistance.  That you have given all necessary information.  Do not open more than one ticket,

This is new to Etsy.  I know that is not a good reason and hard to hear but with any new program there are bound to be snags.  Just believe that you can get through this.  Besides came January 31 everyone who needs to have Payoneer will need to do this.

My personal experience with Payoneer in India is absolutely filthy. PayPal responsivness is fantastic. I am sorry to say it is a huge waste of time with Payoneer as they have really don't care attitude.  Small trivial issues cannot be solved. Days and days go by. What a mess?

What is the sellers' fault in this who has really invested time and effort since years!!

I am on 17 days and 15 different “support specialist” and not a single one is actually looking at my screenshots to see there IS a problem and it is killing my shop!  All I get is robot copy paste speak.  I am at my witt’s end and about to contact every media outlet with my story!
