I know this is fairly unlikely but...

My shop seems to have just got opened by Etsy whilst it (not Etsy) is on vacation and sure enough, a person favorited an item and I have Unstoppable Coupons active.

It could be that the save option on the Options menu didn't 'take' this morning (Australian Time) but...

If it was you Etsy, Stop It!

And fix the coupons and I'm not reopening until you do.

Ive already tried to contact Etsy support regarding the coupons.  they remain unfixed.  I have no capacity to raise a ticket with them

Did you actually see your shop reopen after you put it into vacation mode?

Was the listing that was favorited something that already sold?  Anyone can still favorite a sold item that's shown in the reviews if they click on it and then click ''see item details.''  The heart is still clickable even tho the shop is on vacation.

No I didnt literally see it open.  I thought perhaps I might have shut down the browser too fast for it to save the 'on vacation' setting.  I cant be sure.  I was alerted by the favourite on one current item and someone just favourited an old sold one.

anyone can favourite things whist you are on vacation.

If I was stuck in the coupon issue, I would put my prices up to compensate until it was fixed, not go on vacation,

and log a ticket with etsy, and reply to the same ticket, every day

I wish I could log a ticket but that option is not open to me otherwise I would have opened a ticket for the coupon.  The coupon is just the last straw.  Im not putting up my prices, I can just easily make no money elsewhere, and I am.

this is the online chat option if you go through for ads and marketing ... make sure you say you want a ticket opened...

the idea is to only increase the prices to cover the %age of coupons used, so in reality, you won't actually be charging more, but the same overall.

The coupons are a known issue that many sellers are complaining about. I got into a chat a couple of weeks ago and it was supposedly passed on to the tech team. I got an email that said the engineers were working on it but there’s no estimated time frame for a fix. That seems to be their standard answer for everything.

I did notice a few people complaining about it.  And that its being going for a few weeks.  I want to run regular coupons days and I was trying to clear everything out...and then this .....*frowning face*
