I have tracking numbers for EVERY shipped order. Star Seller says 4 shipments do not have tracking.

Star Seller says that my shop Designs by JTB is missing tracking numbers on four shipments.  This is NOT correct.  I have recorded tracking numbers for every order.  These four shipments were made on January 29 (on time) and each has a tracking number in my Completed Sales.  How do I get this corrected.  I can find nowhere on the Etsy site to contact a person for help.  It is unfair to say that I have 86% shipping when I have 100%.  It also keeps me from being a Star Seller for multiple months.  How do I get to someone who can check this and correct it???

Do you use Etsy labels?  Auto-import from a label service?  Or manually enter?

Some things to check:  Sometimes labels fail to auto-import.  If entered manually, a blank space at the beginning of the number can make it read incorrectly, or sometimes a number gets cut off.  You have 3 days to correct wrong tracking numbers.  After that, you can't change them.  Look to see if the tracking numbers are actually working properly.  You also have to be using a shipping service that Etsy can track. 

There have been Etsy glitches in the past, but the best thing to do is make sure your are 100% correct before contacting Etsy.  Because Etsy won't make exceptions if it was your mistake, or an import mistake, etc.

Contact Etsy Support and ask that they correct. This also happened to me with two orders last month. The CSV said no tracking but both orders had tracking. The person I spoke to said he would pass on to be corrected.

@designsbyjtb: What happens if you click on the tracking number link on the actual order? If it opens the tracking page and shows the scan history then you have proof that the tracking information was entered correctly. In that case you should pursue it - while Etsy will not manually adjust Star Seller stats they can, in some cases, fix the underlying data and then the Star Seller stats will auto update (but not retroactively).

If the link does not work, and if the shipping company is supported by Etsy make sure that the shipped date, tracking number and shipping company show correctly on the actual order. Etsy relies on a third party vendor for tracking (and tracking number validation) and uses the data on the order.

Keep on mind that the metric is shipping with VERIFIABLE tracking, so a typo or something like a leading or trailing space will be seen as as an invalid tracking number. An unsupported shipping company or invalid / unverified tracking number equals shipped without tracking.

This happened to me last week. I searched and found the one that was apparently missing. A tracking number was there, but the status said USPS was still awaiting the item. When I tracked through USPS website, it was showing as delivered. It didn’t update through Etsy though. The rep I spoke with fixed it. She said that the scan never updated through USPS until it was delivered. If your issue is the same, just reach out to them if you haven’t already and they should fix it for you. Then it should update on your stats within 24 hours.
