I have just been scammed... 236 euros

i have been scammed on your Platform. The attacker just stole 236 euros from my account. i hope that you guys do something about that.

You were scammed. Etsy can't do anything about it it if you provided your financial information

Sorry to hear that.  Etsy doesn’t generally communicate on the forums so you will need to contact them.  Have you contacted your bank/credit card?

Ahh, I did not know that. Yes, i have taken the necessary steps to contact my bank and block my debit card.

Well, maybe just a wee bit for not doing a better job of dealing with this current onslaught of scammers on their site.

You took conversation off of Etsy, there is nothing Etsy can do for you, that is why you never use email, as that removes any protection you might have on Etsy.

You made the mistake of giving the scammer your email address or SMS, or you clicked on a link, which took the scam OFF-Etsy. The only way scammers can get away with a scam is to get you off Etsy. At that point, Etsy cannot protect you.  Report the fraud to your bank, you may have some fraud protection there.
