If it's not showing up in your orders, how do you know you made a sale? Serious question, just because there's lots of scams these days that convince people they have sales that they in fact don't.
Two things may have happened: 1. A scam message was sent about an order which wasn't real. This is happening to a lot of Etsy sellers. 2. Etsy removed the sale due to their seller protection program because the sale was not safe to process.
If you receive an actual order, you will see it in your "Orders and Shipping" section and you will receive an email from Etsy notifying you that you have a sale, and there will be a notification in your dashboard as well. If there is a problem on the buyer side, it will be a "pending" sale until Etsy clears it.
