I can't reply to customers' messages on Etsy

I am blocked from messaging customers on Etsy, how can I solve this, I can't respond to incoming messages, emergency support

Did you send a lot of messages within a short period of time?  With the same content?

Did someone send you a message that said they were having trouble ordering and need your email?

If you are getting "enquiries" from potential buyers saying they cannot complete payment and need your email, these are almost certainly scam attempts.  If you get the message "user does not exist" when trying to answer, this confirms it.  They are scammers, and Etsy is already onto them and have removed their account so you can't get ripped off.

That customer's Etsy account may have been blocked due to signs of fraud or policy violations.

OP, if you have an actual order, as shown on your payment account, you can email the buyer with any information needed. Send any other messages to spam via a browser.

I have the same issue now, and can't get any help from Etsy... did you ever resolve this and if so, HOW??  Thanks for any info!

hello, the reason why we cannot answer is because those people are spam or fraudulent. so as far as I understand, it is a work done by etsy to protect sellers
