Hello,
Yesterday morning, I started receiving constant ETSY notifications from the mobile application. When I looked, I was receiving spam-like messages. I switched to a PC. Incoming messages showed that I had sent a message first.
I didn't realize it at first, but then I realized that my ETSY profile name had changed to ETSY Technical Assistance, and my profile picture had changed to the ETSY icon.
I immediately restored it to its previous state. Meanwhile, I received a warning from ETSY in my e-mail address that I was sending spam messages to other users via ETSy.
I immediately opened an ETSY support request and it's been 24 hours and I still haven't received a solution.
I opened two separate Support Requests ID: #159xxxxx and ID: #159xxxxx
But I didn't get any results. The reason I'm in a hurry is because my sales are continuing (sales information is sent to my e-mail address). However, I cannot make any transactions because I cannot access my Dashboard.
As I stated in the Support Requests I opened, I am the victim of some spam problems that are beyond my control and problems that arose after my profile name and profile picture were interfered with. Even though my two-factor authentication account is open, spam messages have been sent to me without permission. When I noticed I marked all replies as spam.
I do not know what to do. I'm waiting for support.
Only open 1 support request, and reply to that, you still need help,
If you open another one, the first one is closed, and the new one goes to the bottom of the queue, so you never get anywhere.
Not sure how you are writing here, or how you opened tickets, if you can't log into your account.
.... if you can get to 2FA, where 2FA is, if you scroll down, you will find who else has logged in, log them out, and change your password
run virus checker on all your devices, the only item you have a review on, says the item had a virus, that was december, so you have been compromised for a while
I understand it seems a bit complicated.
I was able to write here via my wife's store information to look for a solution.
Because I cannot enter my Profile to write here.
I opened two tickets, one of them was closed, the other one was closed, you said it would be sent to the end. As a result, what should I do at this stage?
Are you talking about a second shop you own? Asking because the shop you're reporting from has just six sales and your last sale shows that the Baby's 1st Christmas listing hasn't renewed since December.
ETA after reading the above reply.
What is the name of your shop?
That store you mentioned. My wife's store is not very active.
I am looking for a solution for my own store.
My reply is the same
also,
If your wife sent out digital files with viruses, your devices are likely to be infected too.
DigiNorm
In conclusion, let's put the Old Computer aside. Can I log in to my account from a new clean PC?
When I want to log in, "You may be unable to access your account." I'm getting this warning
I looked at DigiNorm
The account is live and up and running,
you should be able to log in, unless the hackers changed your password
It wouldn't matter what device you logged in from, you should be able to log in from anywhere
No, I can't log in. I see a sale coming to my email address as notification.
When I want to log in with Gmail, I get the warning "You may be unable to access your account."
When I want to log in to change the password, "Our security team has temporarily limited your access to this account for your protection. To regain access, please contact us." I'm getting a warning.
I opened a request and received no response. I wrote to live support and was told that we are informing the expert team.
24 hours have passed. A sale is coming and I cannot make a transaction. A question is coming from the customer and I cannot answer it.
I'm worried that the store's statistics will deteriorate.
