I got an email to change my password. I did that and got a message that I would get a code texted to me within 60 seconds. This never happened.
I tried to send an email to Etsy, it wanted me to enter my email and I would get a code texted to me. I never got a code.
does anyone know how to get an answer from Etsy? A number to call or a way of messaging that will get a quick answer?
thank you!
I doubt that email was from Etsy.
Etsy does not publish a phone # nor an email. Any you find online are FAKE.
I also doubt that email was from Etsy. Sounds like a scam to me.
The only time I've ever got an email from Etsy about a password is when I clear my cookies/cache and get an email that I've signed into a new device (I haven't) and to disregard if I haven't.
The only way to contact Etsy is through the HELP pages and sadly these are not quick, might take days or weeks to get help.

You can try this call back link, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.

"it wanted me to enter my email " It is 99.9% certain that the email you received was from a "scam" site posing as Etsy. Before anyone makes any changes, especially in relation to Financial or Log In details, to check your actual Shop Manager and Messages. Anything official will appear there.
It looks like the scammer has obtained both your email address and password and used these to change the log in details. If this is so, then you will not receive and emails from Etsy because these will now go to the scammer's email.

Maybe report your shop. I’m sorry it really seems like you have been scammed. Why would Etsy request you to change your password via email no less? Doesn’t sound right. Maybe request a moderator here in forums.
You posted this on Sunday too. Have you not been in your account since then?
But don't you need to be logged into your account to post here in the forums?
Sorry, wrong post
Your shop is open all the time even if you aren't logged in, unless it's in vacation mode, which is a different situation.
ok, now what I wrote makes no sense.
