I can’t change shop location on Etsy

I can’t change the shop location on Etsy. I go to edit it but nothing appears when a new location is typed.

I thought that was fixed. Have you tried using different browsers? Cleared your cache etc?

I assume you are just trying to change the city or state. In general you can't change the country (except for EU shops which can move within the eurozone).

Edit your Shop Front Page on the left upper part: click on the Edit shop. Then click on the Location Edit, make your changes. When you are done, don’t forget to click on SAVE.

SAVE is the most important click.

@CatarinaBattista   Unfortunately some sellers are running into the inability to change the information.  There is no drop down and writing it in does not seem to work always.  Others have experienced this.  Sort of hit and miss.

Do you get a drop down?  Or are you able to write in the box?

If neither then the issue continues.  Some can easily write.  Others cannot.  It's sort of hit and miss.  And of course Etsy probably feels there isn't a problem. 

You moved to Ohio?  Can you add the state at least and then contact Etsy to let them know the location is still not working properly.  I think this got messed up when they removed information from search for cities.

@ModAngie @ModKenneth   Is it possible to report this?  It is an issue with sellers.  They cannot put in their actual shop location.

I can type in a new location but I can't save it.

Did you try reaching out to support via chat? Lower left side corner on after you have logged in. What does chat say?

I am having the same problem.  Cannot add location to my shop's front page and I've tried everything.

Anyone get this fixed? I have been trying to update my location for a week. Nothing appears in the drop down when I type. I have chatted and down all the steps to "resolve" it and the agent showed me on her end that its possible and working when she does it, but etsy is not authorized to change it.

@DexMex - this is a long shot, but when I just re-entered my city on the front page edit, and hit "save", it did nothing. Also edited my "announcement" while I was there. Then for some reason, I thought to try refreshing the front page...it saved everything that way! Good luck!
