contacted the support team more than 20 times for over a month now I do not have the option to reply to any messages and this is happening for no reason. every time I spoke with someone from the support team they told me someone will contact me, and I haven't been contacted for over a month!! I lost so much potential money already because of this, the only reason im not a star seller right now is because of this.
i am crying every day because I see how my hard work is wasted because of some lazy Etsy system error that robbed me from my star seller badge, and the ability to help my costumers when I should.
"...because of some lazy Etsy system error..."
Not enough information.
Etsy disables messages when too many are sent out. This is due to an attempt to control spam which is not allowed on the site. When messages are disabled they usually return to a normal working status within a few weeks. So it's likely you'll be able to reply soon. Many Etsy shoppers make purchases without ever contacting a shop unless communication is required for custom work.
Because your shop has a buy so many items and get some free, contact may be needed. It may help to set the listing up to allow personalization where this information can be added?
the main problem is me not becoming an Etsy seller because of the undeserved message ban, and not being able to help my costumers when I nedd.
@YuvalTumblerDesigns - Usually Etsy does not mute a shop owner - not allow them to send or reply to messages - unless the shop owner has done something wrong.
So if you were sending out messages randomly to people who favorited one of your items, etc. this would be considered spam & Etsy will take away your ability to use their messaging system. Eventually Etsy will open your shop to messages again.
At times Etsy make see a number of messages sent all at once - you took a weekend off & had many messages to reply to - as sending spam.
Also, Etsy can make mistakes & messages are suddenly limited.
Check your emails from Etsy (spam & promos box) & your Etsy messages to see if they ever sent you an explanation about why your messages have been muted.
If you can't find anything & wish to pursue it yet again, send only one help ticket to Etsy & respond to that one, including any generic replies, that your issue is not resolved.
However, Etsy may feel they have already explained the situation to you. And remember that their customer service is backlogged so be prepared to be patient when waiting for an answer.
yes they probably muted me for sending a lot of messages at once, those we're not spam, they were neccecery, yet it's been over a month and my ban still exists, and no one can apparently help me...
I do qualify for all-star seller objectives except the 24 hours reply one, and that's because of the long-lasting undeserved messaging ban.
It's extremely unlikely not having Star Seller lost you sales. Buyers really don't pay much attention to that. You have no badges, and you sell inexpensive items. Likely you aren't meeting all FIVE requirements for badges.
If you have no messages in a month, or don't hit the $300 limit, that will affect Star Seller. Also, Etsy will remove Star Seller for other reasons, such are repeated violations, but your shop only opened this year, so it's unlikely you've had repeated violations.

again, I didn't spam any of my costumers, and im message banned for more than a month now with no explanation
@YuvalTumblerDesigns you have no badges at all which means you did not make $300 + 5 orders.
I received over 300$ in purchases overall since uploading my first product, and I have 127 orders, is that not enough for the star seller? is it instead 5 items that each grant 300$?
you needed to have $300 for June - August for the badges that you have showing on your shop now.
and had your first sale prior to 1st June
@CraftyCornishMaids @NanaLetha are correct.
@YuvalTumblerDesigns: You might want to review the Star Seller rules. Star Seller is calculated and awarded only on the 1st of the month based on the data for the previous three month period. Assuming that at the time of calculation your first sale was 90 days or more earlier, you then need to meet the sales quantity and sales volume minimums based on sales during that three month period. Only then are your qualifications for each badge considered.
Not to discount the fact that your messaging may have been disabled in error, generally it is because the system has detected that your account has been sending unsolicited non-transactional messages. Based on other posts in this forum there does not appear to be a published length of time that the muting will last and it seems to vary considerably. While you are waiting for Etsy to reactivate your messaging you may want to read the "Dos and Don'ts of Communicating With Customers" https://www.etsy.com/seller-handbook/article/26590492608 to make sure you are in compliance.
You also appear to be missing important items such as your location and an About sections. This might be impacting how long Etsy decides to keep you muted.
thank toy foe the reply I will proceed to update what is missing..
