How to edit tracking number?

Hi all, I messed up and put slightly wrong tracking number. How can I edit it? I've been trying to days but nothing works. Thank you

I have edited them in the past by going to the little  usps icon and there was a link to "edit". Hoever, I just checked my last couple of shipments (already in transit) and do not see the link. Perhaps it needs to be dne before actually mailing the package?  IF not that, then Etsy may have changed the format.

Unfortunately, it's past 3 days. Do you know what to do after that time? What will happen now? Thank you

There is nothing you can do now.  It will remain in limbo unless you can contact Etsy and have them remove from your open orders. They used to do this in the longago but chances are now they will ignore you.

Whether or not the funds will be released ==unknown. You need to ask Etsy. {{{good luck with that!}}}

This is the exact reason I am super super careful with numbers. If I ever need to add them manually (as in combining 2 shipments) I always do a cut and paste.

If you waited past 3 days, you can’t edit it.

If the incorrect tracking number went out in a notification to the buyer, I'd send a message giving the buyer the correct tracking number in case they need it.

That I don't know. I would guess not, as I don't think the system would know it wasn't the correct number. But I could be wrong.

Someone said you can try to contact ETSY, how do you do that? It's pass 3 days... it was a combined purchase, so the buyer has received it as the other order had the right tracking number.
