Holiday mode

I asked etsy support 6th!!! time about they send my shop me to this mode - all 6th time AI send me one answer - upload documents for veryfying ( all this time i make new photo of documents and they didnt check it and hold me on holiday). What to do ? I have beed worked here before a few month (january - march) and then ythey did it

I believe Etsy has stopped registration of new shops in Ukraine.

Starting from the end of April 2021, new sellers from Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and other countries cannot sign up on Etsy. That is due to the new rules of the platform, vc.ru reports.

  • In most locations where Etsy Payments is not currently available, new shops are temporarily unable to onboard to Etsy. As of April 26, 2021, most sellers opening new shops on Etsy are required to onboard with Etsy Payments. 
  • Etsy Payments is not available in Ukraine. Click here to find out where the service is available.
  • Etsy confirmed this information and promised to work on expanding the availability of Etsy Payments in other countries.
  • The company also noted that if you have previously created a draft shop but did not open it, you will not be able to launch it now either. If you have a closed shop, you most likely will not be able to reopen it unless you can accept Etsy Payments.
  • Etsy added that the Etsy Payment service is necessary for secure transactions and comfortable payment of purchases by users.

we based in poland and work in Ukraine. And ill repat - we have been worked in january..

@Former_Member no, you can't sell anything with a logo or design that belongs to someone else or another company. The Batman 'name' is a registered trademark that belongs to DC Comics. You can only use it under licence from the owner.

@Former_Member - Per this link - https://www.etsy.com/legal/etsy-payments/  Etsy payments are available in Poland.

You say your shop was opened in January of this year. Were you living in Poland when you opened the shop? Are you a resident of Poland &/or have any necessary work permits, etc. to work in Poland? I see you have set your shop's location to Kyiv, Ukraine & your about section states you are from Ukraine.

There may be a banking or identification problem. 

Do read the following: https://www.etsy.com/legal/policy/selling-to-eu-buyers/239965962014?ref=list  to be sure you are compliant with EU/UK regulations on ecommerce.

Read this: https://www.etsy.com/seller-handbook/article/the-ultimate-guide-to-intellectual/22398703823  as mentioned by SheWhoPlaysWithGlass there may be an issue, looking at your one sold listing.

I do not know where your bank or credit card on file with Etsy is. Any ties to Russia will definitely cause complications. 
It has been mentioned in other threads that Etsy's data has a memory even when changes are made & shown as accepted in the system. 
This "memory" if it exists could be a part of the issue?

Finally, double check your email to see if Etsy sent one to you - look in spam & promos boxes.
If you did receive something from Etsy reply to that email. If you did have an email & have replied to it, use that email to contact Etsy with the requested info. &/or to give them a nudge. Do Not keep opening new help requests. This will only put you to the back of the line.
Not knowing exactly why Etsy placed you in vacation mode, if they send a generic reply do not hesitate to reply - to that email - that your issue is Not Resolved.

issue is Not Resolved/ im from Ukraine. But i live about 5 years in Poland. I paid taxes in Poland. But io got ukrainian passport - may it be a problem ? 
etsy doesnt reply, or reply to upload photo of document (again and again) and after my replying to them - they close request. I have not any connection with russia.

document originals was uploadd in January and then everything was good.
I dont know what to do.

@Former_Member - The fact that you have a Ukrainian passport but are living in Poland may be the problem. I cannot speak to any legal requirements, but you may need some sort of work permit/visa or some sort of residency paperwork?

Then there may be banking issues, depending on where you have your accounts?

The only thing I can suggest is gather all your identification paperwork, banking info, etc. & send it to Etsy. If you have the help ticket request numbers from earlier correspondence you can include them if you desire.

You will then need to patiently wait for a reply. If you receive a generic response, reply to that email that your issue is not resolved. Hopefully a real human will take the needed time to review your help request & at least give you a personal reply, whether it is good news or bad news.

I am writing on behalf of the author. The problem is not solved. All the documents that legalize me as a Ukrainian in Poland are available, but the real person never got in touch after uploading the photos to the Etsy database. We heard information from Ukrainians that Etsy put everyone on vacation mode, but unblocked them as they applied. Therefore, I am sure that the problem is the automatic response of the bot.

Hey there, I'm looking for help, my shop was put on holiday mode saying I have overdue fee,but I don't qnd it won't let me turn off the mode. How did you fix yours?

We haven't get any response from etsy yet. 

We have been closed for more than two months. it's just disappointing. Are there any etsy workers here who would help solve this situation?
