Hey friends!
I am having issues with a suspended account.
I got the pop up saying that I need to enroll in Etsy pay to have my account reinstated but I have tried and tried again only to get a “hmm. Looks like that didn’t work. Try again”
I have made sure all info is correct and tried reaching out to Etsy support with no luck. Has anyone had this issue and found a way to resolve it?
thank you for your time!!
So are you saying that you cannot connect your banking information? I see you were selling in 2016 but a lot has changed since then.
Here is a link with instructions for setting up your payment account.
My account information was accepted through Plaid but when I try to continue on to the next steps of enrolling I just get an error message. I think because of my shop being so old I’ll have to start over
you are a paypal only shop, some countries can't enroll in etsy payments any more, the deadlines have passed,
what country are you in?
you are a paypal only shop,...
I don't think it's a country thing.
Looks like they stopped selling before Etsy Pay became mandatory, and they haven't updated their shop since.
That's what they're having trouble with, getting the finances settings changed.
some countries etsy doesn't support anymore, for etsy payments, even though they used to support paypal
some countries are only supported through payoneer
some are supported through their countries banks
Depending on their country, their problem could be different
In their bio it says they are in Monroe, NC
If true, that is in the USA
I only see
From Handmade accessories, to upcycled clothes, all the way to vintage, this shop is aimed for people who love unique style!
nothing about nc
Top right of shop front.
Underneath owner photo, click on name.
Brings you to next page, look top left, personal profile, click on ABOUT.
thank you - didn't get that far
I was just able to bypass this error by using my browser dev tools and fixing the request payload per the errors in the console. Unfortunately, mine error was caused by a coding error and is not something the average user should be expected to be able to navigate.
I am having the same exact issue. Do you have any steps you can recommend for me to follow?
I'm also having the same problem. Any help towards a solution would be greatly appreciated
